About the Authors
Anurag Kumar
Anurag is currently a second year Master in Public Affairs student at WWS. His areas of interest include human development, technology and innovation, and development finance. Previously, he has worked in management consulting, and in global health across emerging markets in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from IIT Delhi.
Ryan Kuo
Ryan is a Master in Public Affairs candidate at WWS. His policy interests include industrial policy and transportation infrastructure and services. Prior to Princeton, Ryan worked as a policy advisor with the Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Agency and a management consultant with Bain and Co in Southeast Asia. He holds a BS in Operations and Information Management and a BA in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania. Francisca was born and raised in Santiago de Chile. She studied industrial engineering and earned a Master in Management and Public Policy at Universidad de Chile. For four years, Francisca worked at the Center for Public Systems as the director of the Projects and Studies area, focused on the improvement of management capabilities of the Chilean public sector. She is interested in health policy and public administration.
Tiffany M. Peterson
Tiffany is a Vietnamese-American architect and urban designer who is passionate about building community through inclusive and sustainable urban development. She has advised governments in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, LA and NYC on land-use, housing, and transport projects. Upon graduating with a MPA degree from WWS, she aims to work at the nexus of design and development. Tiffany holds a B.Arch degree with honors from the University of Notre Dame.
Francisca Vidal
Jaime Najarro Mitik Zegeye
Originally from Honduras, Jaime is a Master in Public Affairs candidate at WWS. He has extensive experience in the education sector, working in different capacities including teaching, program implementation, and consulting for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Jaime holds a BA in Political Economy from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Mitik is a second year MPA candidate at WWS from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Prior to graduate school, she was a Senior Analyst at the Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Agency, a strategy and delivery-oriented federal government agency. Most recently, she worked at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s Agriculture Development team. Mitik’s policy interests include agriculture development, private sector development, and effective public service delivery.
