ABOUT THE COURSE This course is about doing; it is beyond theory; it is about business creation and success. Think of it less as a traditional MSc and more as developing a business (and gaining an MSc along the way). This is a distinctive course aiming to help entrepreneurially-minded individuals realise the path to self-employment, venture creation and business growth. PROACTIVE During the course of 12 months students develop entrepreneurial skills and proactive decision-making capabilities by practice-based learning. This vocational course is very much focused on action rather than theory and participants learn how to create a value proposition, how to iterate, validate and ultimately pitch their ideas. The course delivers a holistic, interdisciplinary view of early-stage entrepreneurial activities, adopting a collaborative working format between academics and founders, along with targeted coursework, mentoring, extensive networking and an optional placement with our start-up partners.
