The Wine Walk scheduled for last Saturday has been postponed to Saturday, October 5. Six courses with ten wines served at different locations around the club, including out on the golf course. This is one of our “premier” events and was sold out before the change of date. There is room for a few more members and you can sign up on the club website or app.

Bowling begins to pick up as we head into Fall. If you are planning on bowling, please call to reserve the lanes, we would hate for you to be shutout. Be on the lookout for information on the Couples Bowling league that will start approximately November 1 with a new format!

The Caddie Shack Pub will open again in the lower level of the club on November 1. The Pub will be open Friday & Saturday evenings and Sunday for Patriot games. The Pub is open to all members and families and offers a Pub style menu, a variety of games for both adults and kids, plus denim is allowed!

Did you know…

The Club can host a wide variety of private functions from Breakfast business meetings, wedding & baby showers, birthday & anniversary parties to weddings of 250 guests. We can tailor menus to suit your theme and provide audio and visual services that you may need. If you are interested or would like more information, contact Troy at spristert@worcestercc.org.

Dear Members,

In trying to be environmentally responsible we want to get away from paper statements and have monthly statements sent to you electronically through email.

Please let me know if you are receiving paper statements and would want to make the change to have them emailed. We appreciate your consideration to keep the earth cleaner!

AN ALL AGES EVENT!

Create a festive gift, fun ornament, or delightful decoration to enhance your home for the holiday you celebrate. We will provide a selection of ceramic items and all the necessary paint supplies and colors for your project.

Once you've completed your masterpiece or pieces, we will send the items to be fired, which will take about two weeks. We'll give you a call to inform you when they're ready for pickup at the Club.

RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED so we can ensure an adequate supply of materials is available for you.

The cost per person will depend on the price of item you choose to paint, ranging between $10 and $40

MATCHES TO START ON NOVEMBER 5, 2024 THROUGH APRIL 2024

TEAMS: FOUR (4) COUPLES PER TEAM – ONE (1) COUPLE PLAYS EACH WEEK

WEEKS RUN FROM WEDNESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY WITH FOUR COUPLES ON AT TEAM, YOU MAY ONLY PLAY ONE MATCH A MONTH OR MORE DEPENDING ON YOUR TEAM. CONTACT

WCC Bowling League 2024

Where: WCC Bowling Lanes

When: Matches to start on November 5, 2024 through April 2024

Teams: Four (4) Couples per team – One (1) couple plays each week

Weeks run from Wednesday through Saturday with four couples on at team, you may only play one match a month or more depending on your team

Format: Matches will be a couple team vs couple team playing three (3) strings per match.

Each Team will have a Captain Couple who will coordinate which of the four couples will play the weekly match

Matches can be played at anytime during the match week (Wednesday –Saturday)

Match time and day to be determined by the couples playing each week

One (1) point will be awarded to the team winning each string and one (1) point for the team winning the total pin count for all 3 games

Schedule will be made the beginning of the year and matches will have one week to be completed

Gross scoring (no handicapping) within each division

Please call the club to reserve the lanes once you have agreed upon a time with the couple you are playing We encourage you to enjoy dinner before or after your match with your opponents

Available times are 5:00; 6:30 & 8:00 3 strings will take approximately 1 5 hours You are free to book times outside of these, but they should not run into these times

To keep pace it is suggested that each player bowl 2 frames at a time

Place completed score sheets in the mailbox near the front door

Important as we are tracking high strings

Playoffs to be determined

Having fun is mandatory!

Cost: $20 per team will cover prizes, trophies, etc
