2019 Ouimet Marathon

~ DEAR FRIENDS, IT’S TIME FOR THE OUIMET GOLF MARATHON!~ WORCESTER COUNTRY CLUB RECEIVED $114,000 in scholarships from the Ouimet in 2018 for our WCC caddies and bag room staff!

Our 2018 bag tag program raised almost $40,000. THANK YOU!!!

Our goal is to raise the remaining balance through YOU, our own membership base via the Ouimet Marathon.

2019 Ouimet Golf Marathon Date: Monday, August 5, 2019 Time: 7:00 AM Location: Juniper Hills Golf Course (202 Brigham St, Northborough, MA 01532) Details: Ouimet Golf Marathoners will come together at Juniper Hill Golf Course on August 5 to play as many holes as possible! Give gimmes! Take free drops! It’s all accepted at the Golf Marathon. The goal is not to shoot your career round but to play a ton of golf, have a great time and raise money for scholarships while you are doing it!

• This event will support annual Ouimet Scholarships, which we hope to increase to $2.5 Million this fall. The Ouimet Scholars who receive this need-based assistance have all completed at least two years of service to golf at courses in Massachusetts. This includes caddies or workers in pro shop, course superintendent or other golf related operations. They have all also demonstrated academic responsibility, character and financial need.

• The Fund is delighted you are helping these deserving young people with their education expenses. We hope you are as proud of their work ethic as we are, demonstrated by their 93% graduation rate and ongoing success in life.
