Why not enjoy a night at one of the great theatres spotted around Hayward Heath!

Burgess Hill Theatre Burgess Hill Theatre Club is a long-established part of the local community. We’ve been bringing entertainment through theatre to the people of Mid Sussex since 1935. Most of our productions are staged at the Club ‘Theatre’ (Church Walk, Burgess Hill), whilst the annual Pantomime, our largest production, is performed at the Martlets Hall (Burgess Hill) - performing this year to over 3,000 people. Outside of our annual pantomime we aim to produce at least three other major productions a year. These include all kinds of genre; drama, comedy, workshop presentations and 1 Act Plays. We always welcome new and inspiring Playwrights and Directors to show off their talents in ‘Green Room’ productions. 98 Church Walk, Burgess Hill RH15 9AS. 01444 242984 www.burgesshilltheatreclub.com/

Players Theatre Our historic theatre is located in the delightful West Sussex village of Hurstpierpoint, about 10 miles north of Brighton. You’ll find us at the east end of the High Street, opposite South Avenue. The Hurstpierpoint Players have been consistently busy over the years, always looking forward to the next challenge. Nowadays the company conducts an average of four productions a year, spanning the full range of theatrical styles. In addition to the usual comedies and dramas, The Players have also produced cabarets, musicals, evenings of one-act plays, and more. One of the more daring ventures took place in 1999, when a three-day, non-stop Shakespeare marathon was organised to raise funds for repairs to the theatre building. Guest readers in this extraordinary endeavour have included Des Lynam, Jimmy Hill, Greta Scacchi, Alan Leith, and Gwyneth Powell! 147 High St, Hurstpierpoint, Hassocks BN6 9PU. 01273 833696 www.hurstplayers.org.uk/
