Exhibition catalogue from Ngô Văn Sắc's solo exhibition "In Opposite/Đối Diện" at Work Room Four studio gallery in August 2015. This show represented a departure from Sắc's more well-known technique of pyrography where he burns his subject matter illustratively into wood. This body of work moved into the application of mixed media; combining paint and collage. Despite the change in media his fascination with human observation, portraiture, and the stories, places or objects we experience and share remained and are still acutely apparent in this body of work.
