2013 Cruising Copenhagen P. 17

Stone Paper: This brochure is printed on biodegradable paper made entirely from stone. Stone paper is made by crushing limestone, and it´s biodegradable as well as waterproof.Try feeling it, it´s softer than other types of paper – and stronger. You can even use it as a shelter from the rain. ’

The paper is cradle to cradle certified. No bleach, acids or other harmful chemicals has been used to produce this paper – it´s white due to calciumcarbonate. No water and not a single tree has been used in production. Producing one ton of stone paper = 500 kg CO2. Stone Paper protects the planet we all love to explore.
