The Amalienborg Museum

“Hamlets Castle of Elsinore” is a must-see for everyone who visits Copenhagen. The Museum of Danish Resistance describes the Occupation of Denmark in 1940-45 with the main emphasis on the emergence and development of the resistance movement. Take a journey through the past at The National Museum, Denmark’s largest museum of cultural history. The permanent exhibition Danish Prehistory 13,000 BC – 1050 AD is an absolute ‘must-see’ with highlights like the Vikings’ gold and silver hoards, and the 3400-year-old and quite unique Sun Chariot.
