Twenty years later, Taschen celebrates the legacy of this publishing venture in an XL edition, the result of a project conceived by Helmut Newton and revised by his wife June. REN HANG TASCHEN The only international collection of Beijing photographer Ren Hang, whose images garnered some 90 shows in his brief six-year career before he committed suicide at the age of 30. Vivid and explicit, Hang’s images capture naked subjects outdoors, exposed, erect, and in an entanglement of bodies that put him at the forefront of a gender fluid world and of Chinese artists’ battle for creative freedom. Until November 29th Fondazione Sozzani (10 Corso Como Milano) hosts an exhibition with a wide selection of his photographs. L'unica collezione internazionale del fotografo di Pechino Ren Hang, morto suicida a soli 30 anni dopo una fulminante carriera che gli è valsa oltre 90 mostre e un larghissimo seguito online. Vivide ed esplicite, le immagini di Hang catturano soggetti nudi all'aperto, esposti, in un intreccio di corpi che lo mettono in prima linea in un mondo gender fluid e nella battaglia degli artisti cinesi per la libertà creativa. Fino al 29 novembre la Fondazione Sozzani (10 Corso Como Milano) ospita una mostra con un'ampia selezione delle sue fotografie.
