The Abacos is a 120-mile-long island chain with Great Abaco Island and Little Abaco serving as the “mainland,” with a string of barrier islands separating them from the Atlantic. The body of water between the two main islands is the shallow Sea of Abaco. With its own calm sea surrounded by charming islands, each of which is worth a visit, the Abaco Islands are known as one of the world’s top boating and sailing destinations. Discover quaint colonial towns, play some golf, witness endless miles of stellar beach, and enjoy some great fishing and diving. NASSAU & ROSE ISLAND Meet your yacht and crew in Nassau, enjoy a celebratory toast, and then head to Rose Island. Here you crew will unload all the water toys while your chef creates a mouthwatering lunch. After enjoying a day of watersports and fun in the sun wash up for a delicious dinner at The Lukka Kairi Waterfront Bar & Grill. When you head to bed your captain will begin the 7 hour cruise to Pelican Cay.
P E L I C A N C AY Wake up in Pelican Cay and enjoy an incredible breakfast onboard. Spend the day exploring The Pelican Cay Land & Sea Park, a vast 2,100-acre reserve. It is home to some of the most unique and beautiful marine life in the world and features an extensive number of undersea caves, coral reefs, flora and fauna. After a day of exploring undersea caves and seeing the beauty of Pelican Cay enjoy dinner on the aft deck.
P E L I C A N C AY T O E L B O W C AY Enjoy a delicious breakfast onboard as you cruise to the beautiful Elbow Cay. Elbow Cay is an active island with great beaches, fun resorts, restaurants and island nightlife, and is well worth the extra time ashore to explore and relax. Firefly Resort is a great spot for cocktails and the perfect vantage point to see a gorgeous sunset. The Abaco Inn and Hope Town Harbor Lodge are great dinner spots with views of the lighthouse, the Atlantic Ocean and another pristine Abaco beach.
E L B O W C AY T O M A R S H H A R B O U R Cruise from Elbow Cay to Marsh Harbour. This town is the commercial center of The Abacos. It has a growing number of shops, cafés, a selection of hotels and resorts, restaurants and other service amenities.The lively downtown area offers all city amenities, yet it maintains a small-town feel. Walk around for the day exploring this magical place. Have a quiet night at anchor while enjoying the peace and solitude that only a Bahamas yacht charter in Abacos can deliver.
M A R S H H A R B O U R T O M A N - O - W A R C AY Just a short hop from Marsh Harbour is the historical boat-building island, Man-O-War Cay, an excellent destination for superyacht charters in the Bahamas. Enjoy breakfast on the aft deck as you cruise the turquoise calm waters on the Sea of Abaco. The Sea of Abaco offers great conching grounds in these parts for the trained eye. Bakers Bay Resort is a new development with a beautiful large yacht facility. There is great snorkeling and diving just off the reef to the north end and one of the most spectacular beaches in all of Abaco.
M A N - O W A R C AY T O G R E AT G U A N A C AY In the morning you will cruise to Great Guana Cay. Great Guana Cay is home to Nipper’s Beach Bar & Grill and is definitely worth the trip “up the hill”. Enjoy the quintessential beach bar overlooking white sand and every hue of turquoise and aqua imaginable.
G R E AT G U A N A C AY T O G R E E N T U R T L E C AY Another day...another unique island! Depart Great Guana Cay for Green Turtle Cay. Along the way is another beautiful snorkeling spot just off No Name cay. After enjoying snorkeling and watersports all day, step ashore from your charter yacht, and enjoy some of the Green Turtle Cay’s finest dining spots, The Green Turtle Club, Bluff House and Pineapples.
G R E E N T U R T L E C AY T O M A N J A C K C AY Depart Green Turtle for Manjack Cay (pronounced Nun-Jack). Depending on weather, Manjack offers two great anchorages. The south end near Rat Cay is a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy water sports and the cut offers great paddle boarding and kayaking. Spend the day exploring and enjoying the peaceful tranquility of Abaco in and on the water. The north end is also a great spot and provides some of the best sunset views over the water. Enjoy dinner aboard and another peaceful evening under the stars.
M A N J A C K C AY T O T R E A S U R E C AY Quickly hop over to Treasure Cay while you enjoy breakfast on the aft deck and wind down before departure. Treasure Cay has yet another gorgeous beach, noted by National Geographic as one of the World’s Top Ten. Enjoy a peaceful stroll along the white sand beach while your yacht crew prepares a lunch on the beach for you.
T R E A S U R E C AY T O H O P E T O W N As your captain cruises to Hope Town, enjoy your final breakfast onboard reminesing on all the incredible memories you made along the way. Here you will say farwell to your crew and disembark.
