Get Involved What is Worthing SU? As soon as you enrol on your college course, you gain automatic membership of the Student Union – this opens up lots of opportunities for trips and events. As part of the Chichester College Group, you will be able to volunteer abroad – students have been volunteering in Kenya for over nine years.

What is Worthing Xtra? The Worthing Xtra enrichment programme offers a range of clubs and activities – and you can start your own club! We also run a party for local senior citizens every Christmas – organised by Worthing SU – it’s a great opportunity to give something back to the community.

Will my voice be heard? Worthing SU isn’t just about the social side, you can play a huge role in ensuring all students have a voice that is listened to. All students have the opportunity to give feedback and see services improve as a result.

How can I get involved? Become a course rep so that you can be the voice for your course, this will enable you to be elected to the SU executive – it’s a great way of getting more involved, developing your communication and leadership skills, and having a role in how the college is run.
