DEC. 4 WINTER WONDERLAND EXTRAVAGANZA
Saturday, Dec. 4, in the Village Center. Want to participate in the parade, the area’s longest standing tradition? The parade and tree-lighting event has been a favorite tradition for more than 10,000 local Central Florida residents for many years, and they are back in Baldwin Park and better than ever! The Baldwin Park Village Center will fill with families of all ages to watch an amazing parade of residents, businesses, schools, sponsors and community partners. Santa photos will be available for free before the parade, as well as performances from local community partners, kid’s activities, food trucks and street entertainers. The event concludes with a special lighting of our brand-new holiday tree at the fountain on New Broad Street by Lake Baldwin. DEC. 5 HOLIDAY POPS IN CENTRAL PARK
5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5, at Central Park, 150 W. Morse Blvd., Winter Park. Take your blanket and a picnic for a concert program of holiday favorites that will be sure to put everyone in the spirit of the season. 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays at Tactical Brewing Co., 4882 New Broad St. Join “The Intern” from BYOCB every Wednesday night as he hosts trivia at Tactical. Categories change each week. Keep an eye on Tactical’s social media to get the bonus word of the day. Staff suggests arriving at 6:30 p.m. with your thinking caps on. First-place team wins a $25 gift card, second place wins a $15 gift card, and third place gets a $10 gift card.
THE ROTARY CLUB OF THE PARKS
Meets from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. the second and fourth Wednesday of each month. The Rotary Club of the Parks is a diverse group of working professionals and neighbors that like to have fun while doing good in their community and the world. Visitors and guests are welcome.
