WINTER WONDERLAND EXTRAVAGANZA Saturday, Dec. 4, in the Village Center. Want to participate in the parade, the area’s longest standing tradition? The parade and tree-lighting event has been a favorite tradition for more than 10,000 local Central Florida residents for many years, and they are back in Baldwin Park and better than ever! The Baldwin Park Village Center will fill with families of all ages to watch an amazing parade of residents, businesses, schools, sponsors and community partners. Santa photos will be available for free before the parade, as well as performances from local community partners, kid’s activities, food trucks and street entertainers. The event concludes with a special lighting of our brand-new holiday tree at the fountain on New Broad Street by Lake Baldwin. Categories change each week. Keep an eye on Tactical’s social media to get the bonus word of the day. Staff suggests arriving at 6:30 p.m. with your thinking caps on. First-place team wins a $25 gift card, second place wins a $15 gift card, and third place gets a $10 gift card. THE ROTARY CLUB OF THE PARKS Meets from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. the second and fourth Wednesday of each month.
