The Western Pacific Regional Fishery Management Council is pleased to share the 2016 Kaulana Mahina (Hawaiian lunar calendar). It was produced in partnership with the nonprofit organization Kaiaulu Anahola and features locations along the Ala Loa Fishing Trail and surrounding areas on Kaua`i. Calendars are being sent to classrooms focused on native Hawaiian studies to encourage and support education about sustainable fisheries and traditional resource management practices.
