Monthly Recreational/Non-Commercial Fisheries Talk-Story Session First Meeting WEDNESDAY, November 13, 2013 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Meetings to be held the SECOND WEDNESDAY of every month, 11am-1pm PURPOSE These meetings will provide a time and place for anyone interested in non-commercial fishing to share information and ideas with the NMFS, Recreational Fisheries Coordinator. The emphasis will be on non-commercial fishing issues but any topic of relevance to our local shoreline and boat-based fisheries is important. As the program develops, we may select a particular issue to emphasize for a particular month and bring in NOAA scientists and managers to discuss issues. This is your chance to share information and raise any concerns, issues and recommendations to improve non-commercial fisheries in Hawaii and throughout the Pacific Islands Region.
