Real estate Notes Grant Received for ‘Realtors® Care Day’ Project in Hartford’s South End The Greater Hartford Association of REALTORS® to work with Mutual Housing Association and Hartford Blooms 20th Anniversary he Greater Hartford Association of REALTORS® (GHAR) and the Mutual Housing Association of Greater Hartford will be working together to improve the grounds of 63 and 75 Webster Street, which are affordable housing units in Hartford’s South End neighborhood. The project is called REALTORS® Care Day and will take place on June 14th at 10am. The project will also be featured on neighborhood tours in conjunction with Hartford Blooms 20th anniversary celebration later in June. The objective of REALTORS® Care Day is to partner REALTOR® volunteers with community residents, providing a connection to their neighborhood. The project will include grounds clean up, plantings, mulching and painting. The building’s residents will also share their time and talents. REALTORS® Care Day is made possible by grant money from the National Association of REALTORS®. Mutual Housing Association of Greater Hartford, a charter member of the NeighborWorks America affiliate network, is a developer and manager of affordable housing in greater Hartford. The Greater Hartford Association of REALTORS® (GHAR) is the largest local real estate trade association in Connecticut, serving nearly 3,300 members in the 57 town Greater Hartford real estate brokerage community.
