Town forgives $12K of Indian Hill debt By ERICA SCHMITT STAFF WRITER
NEWINGTON — In an effort to help Indian Hill Country Club pay off its debt, elected officials recently forgave $12,000 of the club’s back rent. The Town Council voted along party lines at their last meeting, with Democrats in favor of the new contract, effective until next June. Town Attorney Peter Boorman recommended the $12,000 back Volume 55, No. 34

rent reduction nearly one year after the town forgave an additional $15,000 the club was unable to pay.
