Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything. - Aaron Siskind

The Build • Looks decent. • Feels very plastic, but well built nonetheless. • This CS II version has a removable hood, but you probably don’t want to. • The lens cover is unique and it cannot be replaced with a lens cap.
4
Mechanics • This lens is fully manual. • Not to worry about the focus as this lens has a deep depth of field. • Has an aperture ring! Clicks into place. • Not much issue. All the mechanics seems to be smooth, and just works.
5
Optics • Not a full frame lens. Will have a black ring when shooting on a full frame camera. • Image is not really decent shooting at wide open f/3.5. • Seems to hit the sweet spot at f/8. • The images are not useful straight out of the camera. Need to edit and de-fish in post process.

The Good ▪ A good and affordable lens into the fisheye photography world. ▪ Decently good optics. ▪ Rather smooth mechanics. ▪ Not much moving parts – will probably last long.
The Bad ▪ Not weather sealed. ▪ Cannot attach any filters. ▪ Not a full frame lens. ▪ Post-process mayhem.
