MISSION STATEMENT Wayne State University believes that intercollegiate athletics are an important and wholesome adjunct to the principal purposes of the University: (1) the advancement of knowledge through research and investigation; and (2) the dissemination of knowledge through teaching. To that end, participants in intercollegiate athletics must be, first and foremost, students whose fundamental aim is to obtain a sound education. A major mission of the University is to achieve an increasing level of excellence in the quality of its programs and to enhance the visibility and recognition of the University as a whole. Students who participate in intercollegiate athletics are directly involved in the implementation of this mission of excellence, and by such participation, provide a unifying objective of community and University. Wayne State University believes that a well-balanced program in intercollegiate sports is important so long as it remains in proper focus as an ancillary of the real purposes of the University; so long as it remains under academic control; so long as the players are bona fide students; and so long as the coaches strive to instill qualities of honesty, sportsmanship and clean play.

Media Guide DIRECTOR OF ATHLETICS ROB FOURNIER
Since Rob Fournier was named Director of Athletics at Wayne State University on September 1, 2000, a lot has changed. In those 15 years, the department’s competitive success, classroom achievements, community outreach initiatives and the physical structure of the athletic campus has seen a significant transformation. That development has followed a strategic plan that models business forecasting and has realized defined goals/objectives. The results are well-documented. That competitive success is evident in Wayne State’s national standing against all Division II institutions. WSU’s 14 best finishes in the prestigious NACDA Cup standings (which measures the overall competitive success of athletic programs around the country) have all occurred in the last 14 years including the three highest marks ever in the past seven years – 11th in 2009, 14th in 2014 and 21st in 2010. Those finishes secured an unprecedented top four (4%), top five (5%) and top seven (7%) percent ranking among all Division II athletic programs in the country. Ten of 18 athletic teams advanced to the NCAA tournament last season. In the past 14 years WSU has catapulted over 100 places in the NACDA rankings. Additionally, in those 15 years, 43 WSU coaches have been named conference coach of the year while five have gone on to be distinguished as National Coach of the Year. In 2012, the women’s swimming and diving program won the first national title since women’s fencing in 1989. Football had its best season ever in 2011 reaching the Division II national championship game. During Fournier’s tenure at WSU, Warrior athletic teams have won 33 conference regular-season titles, 11 league tournament titles and eight postseason regional, super regional or national titles. For his efforts, Fournier was honored by NACDA as the Athletics Director of the Year in the Central Region in 2008. Last year, WSU had twenty-eight (28) AllAmericans. In the past 10 years, 294 Warriors have been named All-Americans, the most in any decade. In the 98 years of WSU Athletics, 347 of the 568 alltime All-Americans (61 percent of the total) have been so honored since 2000.
Another strategic measurement continues to be noteworthy. The 2014-15 academic year continued both academic achievement and community volunteerism. Fifteen (15) of WSU’s 17 athletic programs (women’s indoor and outdoor track is counted as one) have cumulative grade-point averages above 3.00 with a composite cumulative GPA of all WSU student-athletes at 3.10. The annual NCAA Federally-mandated graduation rate (five year) for WSU student-athletes is at an all-time high of 72 percent which has risen over 30 percent in Fournier’s tenure from programs such as: survival skills, connect-mentoring and learning specialists! In addition, in the last 12 months, WSU studentathletes contributed an exemplary 10,754 community service hours volunteering at a variety of Detroit initiatives. In the past six years alone, student-athletes have committed 53,863 community service hours with such programs as Habitat For Humanity, University Prep Elementary, Capuchin Soup Kitchen and Warming Center, Adopt a Family Thanksgiving Basket, Basic Needs Drive, Be The Match Donor Registry, Covenant House Michigan, NSO (Neighborhood Service Organization), SOCKS in the City, L.I.N.K. Mentoring (Local Intervention Network for Kids, S.M.A.R.T.S. Mentoring, Big Brother Big Sisters, Make-A-Wish Foundation, COTS, Toys for Tots, Forgotten Harvest, Gleaners Food Bank and Manhood Mentoring Project to name only some of the programs. The conference recognized those achievements with an unprecedented association’s honor of the Sportsmanship Award and Community Service Award in 2013. The rise in both academic average and community outreach has been dramatic, consistent and unprecedented. In addition, in the latest federallymandated graduation rate report, it noted WSU student-athletes received an undergraduate degree at a rate 30 percent higher than the comparable campus population. These, and other academic achievements, are recognized at the annual academic banquet, which he started in 2001 and combines a salute to the University’s faculty. Fournier’s ability to generate private and corporate support has dramatically altered the physical setting of the athletic campus and the practice/competitive opportunities for WSU student-athletes. In his 15 years, he has secured $14,762,796 in revenue for the athletic department including $13,231,677 in cash and an additional 1,531,119 in deferred gifts. That total has helped complete the following facility initiatives: football locker room; multipurpose indoor facility; new men’s and women’s basketball office complex; baseball’s replica Fenway Park baseball stadium which displays the former Tiger Stadium scoreboard on its famous “Green Monster facade; men’s and women’s basketball coaches offices and film room; softball locker room and coaches offices, along with a grandstand, walkway and press box; a Boston Garden-like parquet floor for basketball; Hall of Fame foyer; swimming video board, pool deck and bleachers in the natatorium; football ticket booths and stadium entrance; outdoor marquee; FieldTurf football field; a new outdoor track; scoreboards for baseball and football with a video display; trainer’s treatment areas; and new
5
USTA outdoor tennis courts with scoreboard. The physical transformation has been both noticeable and imaginative and boasts a number of cosmetic infrastructure changes as well. Fournier added a radio and statewide television package to WSU media outreach. He also added the athletic department’s first website, a quarterly magazine (Warrior Within) and a weekly coach’s show (Winters on Wednesdays). He also directs and oversees the University’s intramural and club sport programs and the Mort Harris Recreation and Fitness Center. Furthermore, Wayne State is the only school in the country to designate a week of activities to promote Women’s Athletics as “W” Week will be having its seventh annual celebration in April 2016 highlighted by “W” Day. The addition of new programs in women’s indoor and outdoor track and field, and women’s golf follows an internal gender-equity plan designed to better opportunities. Fournier served three years as a member of the NCAA regional-ranking football committee whose responsibilities include selecting the top teams in the region each week and the teams that advance to the postseason. He also spent three seasons on the NCAA softball regional ranking committee. He currently serves as a member of the GLIAC Finance Committee, while also serving on the infractions committee, scheduling committee and long-range budget planning committee. Prior to joining Wayne State, Fournier served as the Senior Associate Commissioner and general counsel for the Mid-American Conference. While serving as the acting Commissioner of the Conference (1999), he moved the league office from Toledo to Cleveland, wrote and secured a long-term contract for the men’s basketball tournament at Quicken Loans Arena and secured the three largest corporate gifts in the history of the MAC including First Energy as the tournament sponsor for the men’s postseason basketball tournament. He also wrote and negotiated the initial Motor City Bowl football contract that is the MAC’s longest postseason Bowl alignment. As the chief compliance officer for the league, Fournier investigated and reported on over 350 infraction cases that insured fairness in case resolution and corrective action. At the request of institutions, he has appeared before the NCAA Committee on Infractions and conducted campus reviews of compliance effectiveness in financial aid, rules education, eligibility and institutional control. He has served as liaison to various NCAA committees for which the conference held cabinet positions. The MAC presidents recognized Fournier’s achievements when they unanimously conferred a Certificate of Commendation and a mark of esteem for his efforts in 1999. A licensed attorney, he received his bachelor’s degree summa cum laude and his master’s with honors from the University of Akron. He was a national forensics champion and qualified for the national finals in six events. Fournier received his law degree from Akron in 1986 and was admitted to the Ohio bar that same year where he is still licensed to practice.
2015 Warrior Volleyball HEAD COACH TIM KOTH
Tim Koth was selected as the 13th head coach in the history of the Wayne State University women’s volleyball program, which celebrated its 40th season in 2014. The announcement was made on Feb. 6, 2014, by WSU Director of Athletics Rob Fournier. Koth enters his 21st season of coaching, eight wins shy of 300 and 15 conference victories from 200. In 2014, he led WSU to a 9-16 record and a 6-12 league mark. He also helped Emily Norscia and Heather Weiss to All-GLIAC selections. His first win as the Warriors’ head coach occurred during the Clarion Invitational against Concord (3-2). Koth’s first GLIAC win with WSU was also his first home win - against Tiffin (3-2) on Sept. 20th. “Tim meets all of the criteria we were looking for in our next head coach -- a proven winner with head coaching experience, familiarity with the conference and what it takes to win at this level, and a coach who has built a program that has advanced to the NCAA tournament,” said Fournier at Koth’s hiring. “With the resources (academic and athletic) we can provide and Tim’s technical, recruiting and strategic strengths, we believe we are well positioned to advance our volleyball program.” “I would like to thank Rob, for extending this great opportunity for me to join the Wayne State Athletic family,” stated Koth. “Going through this process, it became very clear to me that the expectation for the volleyball program is success at a high level, and that the support staff is in place to make this happen. For me – since I have those same expectations – it was a very good fit! “I look forward to getting started, and building a championship caliber culture at Wayne State,” added Koth. He came to Wayne State after serving as the head coach at fellow GLIAC member Northwood University the previous 10 seasons (2004-13). Prior to his arrival in Midland, Koth spent eight years (1996-2003) at G LV C
member Quincy coaching both the women’s Division II program and the men’s Division I program. After leading the Timberwolves to a 21-11 record in 2013, his overall record at Northwood was 175124. His Northwood squads qualified for seven GLIAC tournaments and five NCAA tournaments in his tenure. Koth also spent both the 1994 and 1995 campaigns at Eastern Michigan starting as the associate head coach then taking over five matches into the second year. He mentored Mid-American Conference assists leader Sandy Burkel to a league-leading 12.47 assists per game. He began his collegiate coaching career at California State - Northridge while completing requirements for his bachelor’s degree in communications/public relations. Koth served as an assistant women’s coach for two seasons (1987-88), helping the Matadors to a national title in 1987 and the championship match in 1988. While at CSU-Northridge, he served as the assistant men’s volleyball coach for eight seasons (1987-94) helping the Matadors to a 1993 appearance in the national championship match. Koth mentored 60 GLIAC All-Academic honorees during his years at Northwood including the highest two totals his last two years with nine in 2012 and 11 in 2013. In addition, he tutored two GLIAC Players of the Year (Gorana Maricic in 2005 and Juliia Pakhomenko in 2012), along with Maricic earning GLIAC Freshman of the Year honors in 2004. Both student-athletes received All-American recognition (Maricic in 2005, and Pakhomenko in both 2012 and 2013). He mentored eight First Team All-GLIAC selections, 13 Second Team All-GLIAC and 10 Honorable Mention All-GLIAC honorees for a total of 31 all-league selections in his 10 years in Midland. In 2012 his squad was very accomplished both on and off the court as that team was recognized by the AVCA with the Team Academic Award after posting a 3.578 team GPA for the academic year. Koth was the 2012 AVCA Midwest Region Coach of the Year after being voted GLIAC Coach of the Year by his peers. His Northwood teams won two GLIAC Divisional titles (South in 2008 and North in 2012), plus the GLIAC overall regular-season title in 2012 with a 17-1 league ledger. That year, his Timberwolves squad also won the GLIAC tournament. His first season as head coach at Northwood in 2004, he led his team to the NCAA Great Lakes Regional championship match and the Timberwolves were ranked 18th in the final national poll. The following year, his squad reached the regional semifinals and was ranked as high No. 16 nationally during the campaign.

2015 Warrior Volleyball Q& A WITH HEAD COACH TIM KOTH
During the 2015 preseason head coach Tim Koth sat down to talk about the upcoming season with Assistant Director of Media Relations Cameron Weidenthaler. CW: What was the biggest thing you will take away from your first season at Wayne State? TK: There is no question that we have a much clearer understanding of where the returning roster is and was in terms of its training and ability and what we needed to address both with recruiting and the development of the players who were here.
hitter Emily Norscia. She proved to be a very strong attacker for us last fall but she had some continuing injury issues. We believe that has been solved and we will need it to be, as I expect we will rely on her offensive skill set quite a bit in 2015. Setter Brittany Guldan may be another key. She improved her skills greatly in the spring. If she continues this trend with her work over the summer, she really could develop into a top level setter because she is very athletic! Senior Kelsey Bonewits – we transitioned her in the spring to play more on the right side of the court. If she continues her improvement there – she would add offensive tempo and improved blocking to that position. CW: Discuss the class of newcomers and what they can bring to the roster. TK: I expect this class to impact both the present and future of WSU Volleyball. First, they all have the pedigree of championship culture that we expect. Adding them to
ASSISTANT COACH MIKE LOZIER & HEAD COACH TIM KOTH
CW: You talked about creating a culture of excellence prior to last season. Where are you in that process? TK: We are in year two! I think what that means is we have – during the course of a full year - established what is expected of our team on the court, in the classroom and in the community and have put rules in place to accomplish those expectations. Where we are as a group is working through the insistence of “rules” to eventually make the rules “habit”. CW: Analyze a few of the key returning letterwinners. TK: Well I think all 10 of the returning players made strides this past spring. I think a couple of keys going in to the fall will be – first, the health of Second Team All-GLIAC outside 10
2014 ALL-GLIAC PERFORMER EMILY NORSCIA
the returning group will only be a positive impact to an improved year two in that area. This class has also addressed, in our opinion, the weaknesses we demonstrated last fall. We have also added a couple pieces for the future, that we think will make big impacts after a year of training in our system. They add depth in all areas, and potentially a few starters could be in the mix.
Media Guide Q& A WITH HEAD COACH TIM KOTH
CW: Goals typically remain the same for teams from year-to-year but what is one goal that needs to be accomplished this season? TK: We could talk about outcome related goals, like number of wins, GLIAC Tournament and NCAA Tournament success – but the goal that MUST be accomplished this season is the commitment each player makes – to the team, to the program and to the process. If we have the entire roster committed and on board the rest will take care of itself.
JUNIOR SETTER BRITTANY GULDAN
CW: Will your coaching style change in this season as opposed to last? TK: Personally? Well, I have been involved in collegiate coaching in some capacity since about 1987 – my hope is that I have been able to adapt and change as times and the game itself have. My hope is that my team will always compete very hard on every single play, that they will expect to win every time out and will conduct themselves accordingly. How I will change is that each year’s team is different and you need to find a way to accomplish those goals. In terms of our teams style – we hope our ball control is improved! If it is, we would definitely like to play at a faster tempo offensively and improve our unforced error ratio.
THE LONE SENIOR KELSEY BONEWITS
CW: The schedule looks tough this season, especially the non-conference slate. What are the advantages of that type of schedule? TK: I have never been one to shy away from competing against top level competition. Off the top of my head this non-conference schedule will have four top 25 opponents and six NCAA tournament teams from 2014. The biggest advantage to playing this type of schedule (all of which are on the road) is we get a very true measurement of our team, its strengths and weakness and how close we are to competing at the highest level of Division II. Maybe the most important test is we get to see just how competitive and mentally tough we really are. Ultimately this best prepares our team to make a strong run in the GLIAC.

2015 Warrior Volleyball GREAT LAKES INTERCOLLEGIATE ATHLETIC CONFERNECE The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC), founded in 1972, has been a leader in the advancement and promotion of intercollegiate athletics for men and women for 43 years. The charter members of the GLIAC were Ferris State University, Grand Valley State University, Lake Superior State University, Northwood University (then Institute), and Saginaw Valley State University. Expansion of the GLIAC began immediately with the addition of Oakland University in 1974. Hillsdale College, Northern Michigan University, and Wayne State University were accepted as members in 1975. In 1977, the conference lost its first member when Northern Michigan withdrew. Michigan Technological University filled the vacancy when it became a member in 1980. After the 1986-87 season, Northwood left the conference and was replaced by Northern Michigan. Northwood rejoined the conference in 1992. After the 1989 season, the conference dropped football as a sponsored sport. The conference schools sponsoring football joined the members of the Heartland Collegiate Conference in forming the football-only Midwest Intercollegiate Football Conference (MIFC), which began play in 1990. After nine years as one of the premier conferences in Division II football, the MIFC merged as part of GLIAC on July 1, 1999. With the merger, the University of Indianapolis became an associate member as a football-only school. The GLIAC entered a new era in the 1995-96 school year. Prior to that time, all GLIAC member institutions were located in the state of Michigan. On Dec. 14, 1994, membership was offered to Ashland University of Ashland, Ohio, and Gannon University and Mercyhurst College, both located in Erie, Pennsylvania. All three schools began their membership July 1, 1995. On July 1, 1997, membership was granted to The University of Findlay, located in Findlay, Ohio. UF replaced Oakland University, which withdrew
from the conference after the 1996-97 season as it moved to NCAA Division I status. The GLIAC membership changed again when Tiffin University of Ohio joined the conference in the 2008-09 academic year. Tiffin was offered membership on June 20, 2007. The addition of Tiffin left the GLIAC with 12
full-time members as Gannon and Mercyhurst moved to the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference after the 2007-08 season. The GLIAC entered a new era during the 2009-10 academic year. Commissioner Tom Brown, who had presided over the league for 17 years, retried on June 30, 2009. The longest serving commissioner in the history of the GLIAC, Brown expanded the conference from 10 full members to 14 full members and two associate members. Also under his leadership, the conference has grown to offering championships in 21 sports while rising to prominence on the national level as GLIAC teams and student-athletes have
achieved success both in the classroom and on the fields of play. The Conference expanded on July 1, 2010 when Lake Erie College of Painesville, Ohio, and Ohio Dominican University, located in Columbus, joined the GLIAC. The League expanded further expand on July 1, 2012 when Malone University and Walsh University, both located in the Canton, Ohio area, become the 15th and 16th GLIAC members. The policy-making body of the GLIAC is the Management Council, which is comprised of three representatives from each member institution – its director of athletics, faculty athletics representative and senior woman administrator. The presidency of the GLIAC Management Council is rotated alphabetically by school, with Dave Marsh, Director of Athletics at Northwood University, serving as GLIAC President in 2015-16. Dr. Keith Pretty, President of Northwood University, will serve as the chairperson of the GLIAC Presidents Council this year. The GLIAC made history when it hired Dell Robinson as Commissioner. Robinson became the first ethnic minority to serve as D-II commissioner of a non-historically black college or university conference when he began his duties on July 1, 2009. Assisting Robinson are: Jeff Ligney, Assoc. Commissioner for Internal Operations; Danielle Harris, Asst. Commissioner for Compliance/ Championships; Chris Roekle, Director of Strategic Communications; Mike McCann, Supervisor of Football Officials; Kim Vieira, Supervisor of Soccer Officials; Jeanne Skinner, Supervisor of Volleyball Officials; Rob Doss, Supervisor of Women’s Basketball Officials; Bill Ek, Supervisor of Men’s Basketball Officials; Linda Strapp, Supervisor of Women’s lacrosse officials; Bill Gomoluch Supervisor of Softball Umpires, and Rich Fetchiet, Assignor of Baseball Umpires.

Media Guide PROGRAM HISTORY
The 2015 season marks the 41st year of varsity women’s volleyball at Wayne State University. Since the program’s inception in 1975, under the direction of head coach Gloria Soluk, WSU has won 682 matches, claimed three conference championships as well as three GLIAC South Division titles, and made two appearances at the NCAA Regional tournament. After posting a combined record of 30-80 over the first four seasons, the 1979 Tartars went 33-15, including an 8-2 conference mark, and won their first of three consecutive GLIAC championships (sharing the 1979 title with Oakland). Kathy Higgins, the program’s all-time leader in career winning percentage (.786), led the 1981 squad to a 34-9 record, which remains the single-season record for victories. She was named GLIAC Coach of the Year. The Tartars went 32-9 the following season but were edged out by Ferris State for the GLIAC title, as the Bulldogs were a perfect 8-0 in league play compared to WSU’s 7-1 mark. Wayne State’s program continued to build through the 1980s as Matt Peck began his 11-year tenure – longest in school history – in 1984. Peck’s teams finished with a winning record eight times, including the 32-6 record of 1986 which remains WSU’s highest single-season winning percentage (.842). In 1987, the Tartars finished 27-7 and qualified for the NCAA Great Lakes Regional for the first time ever, falling to conference champion Ferris State in a five-set opening round battle. Nonetheless, Peck was named GLIAC Coach of the Year, and Wayne State had its first volleyball All-American crowned in senior Rachel Parham.
Parham, Wayne State’s all-time leader in kills, blocks, hitting percentage and aces, and was inducted into the WSU Athletics Hall of Fame in 1999, was also selected as the GLIAC Player of the Year in 1987, the only volleyball player in school history to earn the award. As the program rolled on into the 1990s, Wayne State eclipsed the 20-win mark three more times under Peck, including the 1994 season, Peck’s final year at WSU. Behind top hitter Demitria Brooks, who led the team with 501 kills and a then-school record 559 digs her senior year. The Tartars went 26-10 and qualified for the NCAA Regional tournament for the second time, losing a first-round match at Northern Michigan. Brooks joined Parham as the only players in school history to reach the 500-kill mark in a single season Tim Bearden took over as head coach in 1995 and, as the GLIAC split into two divisions, led Wayne State to three consecutive South Division championships from 1996-98. One season after reaching the consolation final of the GLIAC Tournament in 1997, the team posted a program-best 15-4 league record in 1998. Wayne State finished 21-13 overall that season, but would subsequently endure six straight losing seasons as the program struggled heading into the new millennium. Wayne State was ousted from the 1999 GLIAC Tournament by Grand Valley State in straight sets, and would not return until 2005 in Ernie Gilbert’s second year as head coach. Elisa Joris, a 2012 WSU Athletic Hall of Fame inductee, was the standout on that squad, becoming the second All-American in
31
program history her senior year. She led the nation with a 1.79 blocks/game average, second-best at WSU behind Parham’s 1.88 average in 1987. In 2008, the first season under Phil Nickel’s direction, the Warriors went 17-12, their best record in a decade, and advanced past the first round of the GLIAC Tournament for the first time since 1997. Lauren Mallast led the nation in blocking average (1.51), and Sarha Gosselin was selected as an AllAmerican after finishing with 401 kills, a league-best 3.86 kills/set average, and 259 digs. In 2009, Wayne State went 19-9 to post the highest win total since 1998 and the highest winning percentage since 1997. The Warriors finished in second place in the South Division in 2010 and hosted Ferris State in the quarterfinals of the GLIAC Tournament. Sophomore All-American Katarzyna Sak became the first WSU player since 1992 to finish with over 400 kills and a hitting percentage above .330. Including a 14-14 record in 2011 and an 18-13 mark the following season, Nickel’s squads finished .500 or better overall and qualified for the conference tournament in each of the first five years of his tenure. In 2012, WSU collected its first GLIAC Tournament win since 2008 with a victory over second-seeded Ferris State. The Warriors knocked off #6 Southwest Minnesota State to highlight the 2013 season. However, WSU missed the GLIAC Tournament for the first time since 2006. Kristen Bulkiewicz finished with 1,323 career kills, which ranks second all-time in program history. Bulkiewicz collected 34 career double-doubles including 14 in 2013. Tim Koth was named the 13th head coach in program history in 2014 and led WSU to a 9-16 record in is first season.

2015 Warrior Volleyball WAYNE STATE UNIVERSITY ACADEMICS SERVICES AVAILABLE TO WSU STUDENT-ATHLETES Academic Monitoring The Department of Athletics utilizes Grades First software, a monitoring alert system in which instructors, learning specialists and tutors provide notification to students and their coaches about progress in their classes. In conjunction with the coaching staff, requests for information about class attendance and performance are sent to each instructor through the system. The academic coordinator tracks individual progress, schedules meetings with students as appropriate, and personally contacts instructors as necessary. Counseling/Mentoring The coordinator meets with student-athletes individually and arranges for group meetings/workshops with other support service personnel regarding academic, athletic, career, and/or personal issues (for example, group sessions covering such topics as test-taking skills, time management, learning styles, etc.) The Department of Athletics has collaborative relationships with many other critical units on campus to help provide appropriate support services. Advising/Registration In conjunction with academic advisors in the University Advising Center, the coordinator assists studentathletes with term course planning and registration, including holding special student-athlete Orientation sessions to introduce them to NCAA and GLIAC eligibility requirements and departmental academic policies as Jamie Goryca congratulated by President M. WE KNOW THAT ENOUGH WILL NEVER BE ENOUGH. WE’LL ALWAYS NEED TO GO FASTER, BECOME STRONGER AND GET BETTER, NO MATTER HOW FAST, HOW STRONG, OR HOW GOOD WE GET. THAT’S WHY WE’LL NEVER STOP PUSHING. THE MORE WE PURSUE, THE MORE WE CRAVE THE PURSUIT, THE MORE WE GO, THE HARDER IT IS TO STOP. BUT THAT’S FINE BY US, BECAUSE WE NEVER INTEND TO.
STOP AT NEVER.
