Pre-Inspection Checklist

Go through house with a fine-tooth comb looking for small items:

• Look for any mold on any of the vents in the ceiling for the air conditioner

• Change filters

• Use bleach and detergent under all sinks and all wet areas including washing machine wall and air handler walls and floor.

• Check all doors front and side exterior garage door, may have wood damage along the bottom of the casing cut out damaged part and replace

• Adjust doors to ensure that they latch properly

• Clean and silicon all slider tracks

• Check all valves under sinks and toilets to ensure that they not ceased up

• Check all GFCI outlets are working interior and exterior

• Check for open or voided permits with Collier County

• Touch up paint

• Check that diverters work in all sinks

• Check drain speed in all sinks and tubs

• Check shower pressure, if low clean shower heads

• Check electrical covers for junction box-usually in attic

• Tighten knobs

• Check for missing or rusty screws on lanai
