CAREERS BULLETIN Aiming High: She Talks Science Saturday 21st April 2018, 10.15am – 3.45pm Murray Edwards College, Cambridge Murray Edwards College are hosting a `She talks science` conference based on their successful science blog. The conference includes inspiring women who will talk about their careers in science. Students can also take part in academic seminars about topical science issues Who is the event for? The event is for students in year 12 who are passionate about science and want to learn more about where it can take them in the future.
Homerton College, University of Cambridge, Summer Schools, Year 12 Applications are now open for the 2018 Homerton College Summer Schools. The summer school is free to attend with no charge for food, accommodation or activities. Travel bursaries are available for students who come from a household with an income of £25,000 or below. University of Warwick, taster course in History of Art, Thursday 12 April – Friday 13 April The two-day programme is aimed at Year 11 & 12 students wishing to sample University study, learn about the study of History of Art and is held in London where students will spend some time in the capital exploring art and architecture. There are no specific entry criteria, students interested may be studying subjects such as History, English, Classics, Art, Politics, Philosophy but it is open to anyone with a passion for learning.
