CAREERS BULLETIN Year 12 Oxbridge Presentation, Wycombe Abbey, Tuesday 12 June, 4.00pm

Year 12 Edge Hill University Summer Residential, Monday 30 July to Thursday 2 August

Wycombe Abbey invites Year 12 students to attend a presentation on applying to Oxford and Cambridge. This is an ideal opportunity for Year 12 students considering Oxbridge as part of their university application, to listen to key speakers, Dr Louise Fawcett (Admissions Tutor, Oxford) and Dr Sam Lucy (Admissions Tutor, Cambridge) The presentation will focus on the admissions and application process for Oxford and Cambridge. Year 12 students are advised to RSVP Mrs Miles by Monday 4 June if they wish to attend the talk.

Applications are now open for the 2018 Edge Hill Summer Residential. This is an exciting opportunity to apply for a fully funded place to undertake university level academic work, meet with current students and stay in the on campus halls of residence. This will be an excellent way to gain a further insight into Higher Education. Edge Hill are offering a wide range of subjects as part of the residential programme. The University of Buckingham is hosting a series of short presentations by representatives from the art world on art dealing, curatorship and art journalism. The talks will be followed by a Q&A session and the opportunity to speak informally with the speakers and current students of the History of Art Department.
