Higher Education and Careers Fair Wednesday 8 March, 5.45-8.30pm Now in its tenth consecutive year, Wycombe High School will be hosting its annual Higher Education and Careers Fair. The event will give students the opportunity to meet different employers and representatives from Further and Higher Education Institutions. It is a great place to hone networking skills. Students can bring along a CV to discuss with employers. Be prepared to ask lots of questions to make the most of the event.

UCAS- Apprenticeship Search UCAS have added a career finder tool to advertise details of new Higher and Degree apprenticeship vacancies. These are being advertised by a small group of employers who are keen to recruit early for their vacancies, well in advance of their start dates of September 2017 or later. This will give students plenty of time to consider all their post-18 options and make their applications. View a list of the apprenticeships available. Engineering Experience 11 and 12 April 2017 The two day residential will give Year 12 students the opportunity to visit up to four engineering departments to experience studying the subject at undergraduate level. Future Tech Careers Thursday 26 January 7- 8pm Archer Recital Hall Wycombe Abbey School This event provides an opportunity to hear four very different speakers talk about their careers to date which capitalise on recent technological developments. Year 12 Subject Masterclasses Subject Masterclasses are subject-specific events that offer students a flavour of undergraduate study and an introduction to the University of Cambridge.
