SPORT-A-THON UPDATE
Rowing Over the summer, Georgia Dean (Y12, T8) competed for the GB junior rowing team in a race against the French Team. She raced in the eight with 3 other girls from her club alongside 4 girls from Henley after trailing against many other boats from England, Scotland and Wales. It was an amazing experience and luckily they finished it off with a win!

Our ‘New Year, New Sport’ Sport-a-thon has officially begun. Parents, students and staff are encouraged to complete the distance of a marathon (26.2 miles) in a sport that is not your regular activity over a period of three months. Once you’ve set your challenge it’s time to build your fundraising page here: https://campaign.justgiving.com/charity/wycombe-highschool/ whssport-a-thon. If you prefer a less technical way of fundraising you can use the sponsorship forms here http:// www.whs.bucks.sch.uk/440/about-whs/development. We wish you the best of luck!

Mr Mackerras is walking 500 miles (Proclaimers! See pic of them in his room). He has worked out a graph explaining how he is going to make it different than just fundraising per mile walked. He wants to raise the most money when he gets near the 500 mile mark so that he can be really determined to reach the end milestone and raise as much money as possible! Please sponsor these wonderful teachers by signing their sponsorship forms or visiting their fundraising pages. Any gift, of any size is greatly appreciated.
TEAM PHOTOS We are delighted to be selling Wycombe High School 2015/16 sport team photographs for the first time. The photos offer you and your daughter the chance to have a memento and keepsake of her participation in one or more teams and clubs, while contributing to our Play Your Part campaign for the new all-weather, floodlit pitches. Your daughter is invited to collect a photograph pack from the PE department for each team photograph that she sat for. Each pack has a proof of a single photograph and a unique code enclosed, which will enable you to order that particular picture either via post or, preferably, online direct from the photographers. Buy your team photos today - the deadline for you to purchase them is 20 February, so don’t miss out!
