AT SEA We offer Sail Training for youngsters and young professionals. The ship is purpose-built to facilitate teamwork. The programmes and methodologies used on board have been finely honed to coax the best efforts from all shipmates.
IN PORT Wylde Swan functions as an A-list location for corporate hospitality, team building, for one-day masterclasses, and bootcamps. With her contemporary interior, first-rate catering, and friendly staff Wylde Swan offers quality time in dramatic surroundings; a temporary headquarters for companies that want to engage their audience on location.

Education Masterskip Masterskip is Wylde Swan’s educational programme for secondary school students. Over the course of a seven-week journey, students learn to sail the ship while their school curriculum continues on board. Guided by expert teachers, children discover how theoretical concepts apply to the real world. They foster their collaboration skills through shared adventures, helping them to discover their true potential. The Masterskip programme was developed in collaboration with renowned educational institutes. Masterskip offers unique learning experiences for school students in 4 HAVO and 4 & 5 VWO classes. Travel along with the Wylde Swan and learn more about science, sustainability and the practical application of science subjects.

Masterskip students can opt for an ocean crossing from Europe to the Caribbean, a journey along the Caribbean Islands, or the crossing back to Europe.

Corporate Hospitality & catering Entertain your guests in the authentic atmosphere of a working Tall Ship. Wylde Swan is ideal for receptions, meetings, workshops, and parties for up to 130 guests. The spacious aft deck offers plenty of room for mingling, and the middle deck can be covered over to protect from harsh sun or rain. The main hold offers room for 50 persons in meeting or workshop configuration. When it’s time to party it can easily house up to 80 people. Catering options on board range from hearty meals for hungry sailors to culinary experiences that easily match restaurant quality. From a quick bite to a multiple course sit down dinner, the Galley is up to the task. Our chefs pride themselves on using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and our service crew is welcoming and friendly.

MAIN HOLD Down below can be used for presentations and meetings, offering seating for up to 50 persons.
Wylde Swan’s interior does away with tradition for tradition’s sake. Clean lines, muted colours, and the use of materials like oak and canvas offer a serene environment.

“The slightly oval shape of the main hold is inspired by two hands, clasped together as a symbol of togetherness. The main hold is the heart of social life on board, and is easily reconfigured for study, meals, and rest, as well as the occasional raucous party. We wanted to give the ship a fresh and modern feel. By using a muted colour palette we accented the spaciousness of the deck house and the main hold. Ship Exterior The two 40-meter masts and her oversized sails dominate the Wylde Swan silhouette. On deck you will find large spaces for gatherings, as well as several nooks and crannies that offer a reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the busy ship. The aft deck is spacious and offers beautiful lookouts, while the middle deck can be covered over to protect from harsh sun or rain.

Certificates and authorizations
Crew
Wylde Swan has been certified for ‘Trading Area Unlimited’ as a Special Purpose ship with a 50 person capacity.
The ship’s Minimal Safe Manning is four: Captain, First mate, and 2 Deck hands, each taking part in the watch rotation. In practice we sail with a crew of 10: Captain, First mate, Engineer, Bosun, 2 Deck hands, Steward, Service crew and chef.
For day trips, Wylde Swan is governed by EU directive 2009/45 for passenger ships, with a maximum total of 150 passengers and crew. As the ship weighs less than 300GT, Wylde Swan is not required to keep a radio log. Wylde Swan does voluntarily comply with the SOPEP protocol for prevention of oil spills. The ISPS-protocol is not applicable to Wylde Swan, as this is solely a requisite for ships massing over 500GT.

All crew has been certified in compliance with STCW 95 standards. As Wylde Swan is a fully certified Special Purpose schip, all crew has to be certified according to international standards. Wylde Swan voluntarily has an ISM-safety system in place. This is used by the shipping company to maintain maximum levels of safety and state of repair.
