Light up the Lake and Fireworks

Come and celebrate great food, great entertainment and great music with a magnificent backdrop - welcome to the launch of Wyong Lakes Festival 2016. The main stage will feature a line of up great artists leading to our headline act ‘Thirsty Merc.’ Where: Memorial Park, The Entrance When: Saturday 12 November Time: 4pm to 9.30pm

Brunch by the Lake

Bring the family and come down to Memorial Park and indulge in a FREE Breakfast, participate in some FREE activities, enjoy some entertainment on the main stage and admire the roving entertainment. Where: Memorial Park, The Entrance When: Sunday 13 November Time: 10am to 2pm

Bands on a Floatation Device

Star 104.5 Bands on a floatation device will feature local bands performing on top of a barge! Come down to enjoy the evening of entertainment watching the bands perform from the designated onshore area amongst food and beverage vendors, market stalls and other onshore family and kid’s entertainment for everyone. Where: MacKenzie Reserve, Budgewoi When: Friday 18 November Time: 4pm to 9.30pm


Lighthouse Folk Festival

Perched on a lush headland and blessed with 360⁰ views of the glittering coastline, the iconic Norah Head Lighthouse will become home to one of the region’s most unique live music events. The headland will come alive with the inaugural Lighthouse Folk Festival - a one-of-a-kind live music experience where patrons can take in the amazing views and stellar sounds of some of Australia’s finest musicians, while enjoying a delicious selection of local craft beers, wines, and food offerings. Long Jetty Street Festival

Participate Painting by the Lake

Central Coast Watercolour Society Hosts: ‘Painting by the Lake’ A World Record Challenge for ‘the most people painting plein-air on one day at one venue’. A charity auction of artworks donated by participating artists will be held at 2pm. FREE EVENT Where: Long Jetty Foreshore When: Saturday 12 November Time: 9am to 3pm

Storytelling with words, sound and vision

This FREE EVENT encompasses all facets of storytelling in an environment that is accessible to everyone: the beautiful bush land and open spaces along the lake at Long Jetty. Where: Long Jetty Foreshore When: Saturday 12 November Time: 9am to 3pm

Colour Ya World

Colour Ya World is coming to the Central Coast and it will see you and your besties running through a rainbow of colour to the sounds of some of the hottest Dj’s. Party, run, dance and sing the day away whilst covering your friends from head to toe in pink, yellow, green, blue and violet. Don’t miss out, it’s the run with more fun! TriWyong

After an amazing response to the Wyong Triathlon Festival last season, it returns for 2016. Offering a distance for everyone from our Try A Triathlon (FREE for first timers), 200m swim, 7.5k bike and 2k run/walk to the more serious Standard Distance 1.5k swim, 40k bike and 10k run. ObstaSplash

Contains a mixture of wet and dry inflatable obstacles, plus 3 additional themed ObstaDance Stations over 3-5km, the obstacles are a little cheeky, a little challenging, but most of all a lot of fun. Come take on the “ObstaScream” “ObstaBlueBalls” and “ObstaDance” ObstaSplash is open to participants 13 and upwards. The Big Weave

A great activity for all ages to connect with the idea of ecology and celebrate a sustainable lifestyle in and around the town of Long Jetty and the Central Coastal, recycle while you add your personal creative touches and messages to the unique weaving with local well known artists. Arts

Folklore is an Artist in Residency project showcasing visual narratives of significant cultural stories shared by local residents. We are excited to announce that two resident Creative Practitioners have been appointed to interpret these stories into interactive, innovative and enticing artworks. Where? Artworks roaming between Memorial Park, The Entrance and Canton Beach, Toukley during periodic festival days. Who? Artists include Newcastle based Digital Media and Projection Artist Dale Collier and Art Pharmacy’s, Sydney based Performance Collective, Deep Sea Astronauts. Additionally the project will include a public program for all festival visitors.
