Bird feathers consist of a shaft, also called a RACHIS. The point of the shaft embedded in the wing muscle is called the CALAMUS. The features have BARBULES on the BARBS, which keep the feathers laying flat along the bird’s body.

CASA of Laramie County Training

CASA of Laramie County recruits and trains community volunteers to be advocates for children who are in foster care due to abuse or neglect. These dedicated advocates get to spend time with the child(ren) they are working with so they can advocate for their best interest. Advocates are dedicated to helping these precious kiddos find safety, permanency and ensure their voices are heard throughout the juvenile justice system. But they need you!

There are over 60 kids who need an advocate to be their voice. Starting February 1, CASA of Laramie County will be holding training for new volunteers, the time commitment to be a CASA advocate varies but is usually 5 hours per month. CASA of Laramie County Training

CASA of Laramie County recruits and trains community volunteers to be advocates for children who are in foster care due to abuse or neglect. These dedicated advocates get to spend time with the child(ren) they are working with so they can advocate for their best interest. Advocates are dedicated to helping these precious kiddos find safety, permanency and ensure their voices are heard throughout the juvenile justice system. But they need you!

There are over 60 kids who need an advocate to be their voice. Starting February 1, CASA of Laramie County will be holding training for new volunteers, the time commitment to be a CASA advocate varies but is usually 5 hours per month.
