Historic Ranch Tour Series Through a generous partnership with the Marie Jordan Bell Fund and Delta Kappa Gamma, Upsilon Chapter, the Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum is continuing its work to create programs which focus on western culture and ranch life. Each Ranch Tour will have a trolley ride from the Museum to the ranch, with a presentation on the history of Laramie County Ranches, ranch life and the ranch’s connection with Cheyenne Frontier Days. These tours include a picnic lunch on the ranch property. This summer there will be two ranch tours. Saturday, June 15, 10:00am-2:00pm, they will visit the Y Cross Ranch and Saturday, August 24, 10:00am2:00pm, they will visit the Harding and Kirkbride Livestock Company. This year, the Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum, 4610 Carey Avenue, is presenting two week-long, fun-ďŹ lled, full-day educational summer camps. Additionally, they are offering an afternoon-only option if the full-day camps do not work for your schedule. Camps run Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Fees include art supplies and snacks. Pre-registration is required. Please bring your own sack lunch. Space is limited, register today! June 17-21, Western Art Camp where kids will learn the basics of western and folk art, creating a wide variety of projects under the guidance of area artists. The group will be broken down by age to make sure the projects are fun for everyone. Ages 5-14. August 12-16, cowboy and cowgirl camp will relive the dust and glory of the American West. Learn about the Old West with cowboys, ranchers, mountain men, gold panners, art projects and more. Ages 5-12.

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) sponsors the annual Juneteenth celebration, The Day God Came to American Slaves in Texas. Superday 2019 Headliners As part of the “Be Entertained!â€? theme for this year’s Superday, the Community Recreation & Events team is excited to announce MarchFourth and J Shogren Shanghai’d will take center stage at the Lions Park Amphitheater, 4639 Lions Park Drive, on Saturday, June 22.
