The Hillsdale Ladies Group will hold its 18th Annual Yard Sale on August 19-20, Friday, 8:00am7:00pm and Saturday, 8:00am-1:00pm. The sale will take place at the Hillsdale United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 4325 Hills Street. There will be a huge selection of furniture, tools, clothing, toys, books, household items and more. The living history program “Cheyenne’s Melting Pot” presented by the Cheyenne Genealogical and Historical Society, begins on Saturday, August 20, at the main gate of Lakeview Cemetery off Seymour Avenue and features interesting characters who played large and small parts in Cheyenne’s Frontier History. This year there will be new ﬁgures added and two start times for the two-hour narrated walking tour. The ﬁrst tour will begin at 9:30am and the second at 10:15am. Participants are invited to attend either of the tours for the cemetery walk. There are no reservations required and there is a $10.00 entrance fee for adults. Kids 12 and under are free.
