Veterans’ Rock Thrift Store Closing

Veterans’ Rock Thrift Store will be closing. The last day of thrift store business will be Tuesday, October 31. In the last year, Veterans’ Rock has assisted more and more veterans and active-duty military in need with food, clothing and furniture.

The thrift store space is needed so they can have more of what is needed to build a healthy, self-sustaining life. They will continue to seek out other fund-raising opportunities to support the mission of “Assisting veterans and their families through supportive services.”

The CFD Old West Museum will be hosting its annual Wild West Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 28 from 1:00pm-3:00pm in the Cheyenne Frontier Days™ C-Lot, at 4610 Carey Avenue. They are partnering with Associated General Contractors and Cheyenne Frontier Days™ to make this a fun family outing that will include food trucks and construction equipment.

Trick or Treat Event

Scarecrow Building Contest

Come join Frontier United Methodist Church in celebrating autumn by building your very own scarecrow. They will provide the straw, the clothes, either a pumpkin for a head or a paper bag for a head...all you need to bring is your imagination.
