When three heavenly bodies, for example the earth, moon and sun appear in a straight line, this is called SYZYGY. SYZYGIES with the sun, moon and earth happen every two weeks, and the GRAVITATIONAL pull of the sun and moon, combines to cause the spring tides on earth. In addition, it is a SYZYGY when the moon ECLIPSES the sun. TIDAL forces can be fascinating to observe. TIDALLY, the island of Mont-SaintMichel is worth traveling to to see. People like
