Indoor Drive-In Movie: Disney’s The Santa Clause

The Chili Feed follows immediately at the United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall located at 4325 Hills Street in Hillsdale. There is no charge for the Chili Feed but they gladly accept donations. All donations are used to support the Hillsdale Ladies Group Scholarship fund and to help neighbors in need in the Hillsdale area. “No Veteran Dies Alone” Volunteer Training

The Cheyenne VA “No Veteran Dies Alone” Program utilizes volunteers to honor veterans and to meet the emotional needs of those who would otherwise be alone at the end of life. This volunteer support is important for the rural patient whose families may be at a distance and unable to visit regularly, if at all. Emotionally mature volunteers from all walks of life are needed for a variety of positions including program coordination, clerical support, patient and family support. Some volunteers will have a unique opportunity to be available on-call during the death and dying process. The camaraderie and support of volunteers who are also veterans is especially welcome. Volunteers must complete 20 hours of specialized training, available Tuesdays, 1:00pm5:00pm, January 2-30, 2024. Volunteers must attend or make-up every session. All training will be held in the Cheyenne VA Auditorium, 2360 East Pershing Boulevard.
