EDITORS THOUGHTS Hello, We are now in October and currently getting consistently invited to fashion shows in Hollywood in California, but can I attend, NO. Unfortunately work is stopping me from going, and that it is only two days away, not enough time. I also read that Rick Owens had his models wearing another model, no really? I am all up for fashion designers coming up with new and exciting ways to display their collection, but personally, this is just pointless. In other news, I am excited to say that a date has now been chosen for the launch of the print version of BONUS Magazine, JUNE 2016. I am looking forward to seeing how this magazine will impact the luxury market and to hear reviews from industry experts. Hopefully all good reviews. As you know, I am always looking to develop this magazine as a whole and I think that this is the best issue to date, with even more exciting assets and fresh, cleaner layout, I hope you will find it easier to navigate, so let me know what you think? Ferrari regularly introduced a super sports car to the automotive industry, which was always the absolute apex of the technically possible. This led to the most exceptional vehicles in the history of Ferrari. The new super sports car from 2002 received its perfectly suitable name ‘Ferrari Enzo Ferrari’. All super sports cars from Maranello were produced in limited editions and offered to customers for use on the road, just like before the 288GTO, the F40 and the F50. In 2005 Ferrari presented again an improvement in the range of super sports car. It was the ‘Ferrari FXX’ based on the Ferrari Enzo. The FXX had not road approval and was not used for motor sport competitions. For a very small, loyal and exclusive clientele and for the first time in the history of the house with its prancing horse, Ferrari created its own research and development program with customer test drivers. The vehicle offered here is the 29th and ultimate produced customer vehicle of this strictly limited edition. The 30th vehicle was built exclusively for Michael Schumacher. The vehicles were only used on racing tracks. After the completion and delivery in 2006, the vehicle was driven on the ‘home circuit’ in Fiorano in the first practice session, as well as at the following events: Ferrari Racing Days / Spa Francorchamps, Ferrari Racing Days / Nürburgring and Monza. Among others, the vehicle has been driven and tested by today’s DTM pilot Maximilian Götz. The FXX number 29 was as requested by Ferrari, purchased for the research and development program. It was driven without compromise and did not disappear unused in a collector’s garage. During test drives in Monza the vehicle was damaged at the front right corner. The damaged parts, which were only bolted together, were replaced in the Ferrari factory. Similarly, the intermittent foliation in orange was removed. After completion and replacement of the bolted parts at the factory, the car was sold in 2007 and came into the hands of today’s knowledgeable collector. The front end of this extreme super sports car is now protected with a transparent stone guard film. Today, the chassis 146362 is in its original condition and – to the delight of many fans – was only currently moved on a small event. The mileage is

about 2,400 km. Boxes and then shipped accessories/ equipment are naturally included. THE #1 BATMOBILE Price On Request Oct15004

The #1 Batmobile is perhaps the most iconic and recognized piece of entertainment history in the world. The #1 Batmobile began life as a 1955 Lincoln Futura concept car. Mercury’s chief stylist, Bill Schmidt, was inspired by a scuba-diving experience with a shark. Schmidt drew a low, long, wide, and flat car with a full-width grille, hooded headlights, and extreme tail fins. In 1954, Ghia was commissioned to build the $250,000 dream car known as the Lincoln Futura. It took only three months to ready the concept car for its debut in 1955 at the Chicago Auto Show. The Futura played a prominent part in the 1959 movie “It Started with a Kiss”, starring Debbie Reynolds and Glenn Ford. After that, the car was destined to be forgotten, as most concept cars of that time were. However, in December 1965 it was sold to the famous car customizer, George Barris. Despite the car’s cost of $250,000 to build, the Lincoln Futura was sold to Barris for $1.00 and “other valuable consideration” by Ford Motor Company.

In 1965, after a meeting with the producer of the TV Show, William Dozier, ABC hired George Barris to build the Batmobile for the upcoming Batman TV series. The Lincoln Futura was soon to become what will always be remembered as the Original Batmobile. However, there was one small catch. The show was weeks away from production and Barris was given only three weeks to build the Batmobile. The chassis and basic shape of the car was retained, but Barris redesigned the nose and tail with bat inspired shapes and designs. Later in 1966 Barris would assemble three more replica Batmobiles using bodies based on the prototype mould and built on a production car chassis. Besides seeing the likes of the infamous, Adam West and Burt Ward (Batman and Robin), this car has been on a variety of television/movie sets, car shows and museums around the nation. This is the first time that the #1 Batmobile has been up for sale since it left Barris’ personal collection in January 2013.
