Edward Emerson Barnard (US, 1857 - 1923) was one of the pioneers of modern astrophotography. His biography reads as a film script. Born poor after the American Civil War and ended his life as one of the most respected astronomers of the beginning of the 20th century.
Barnard's photographic Atlas of the Milky Way is still a source of inspiration for a lot of astronomers and photographers.
The Anamorfose Cahier 7 is a tribute to E. E. Barnard. A mix of original photos, lantern slides and books by Barnard and other astrophotographers.
