The tribes of Jharkhand have long awaited for their words to be heard and their presence felt nationwide. It is an opportunity to deliver to them what has been so long been kept away from them. Giving them an identity in their homeland. They have always been subjected under the power of the intruders to defend their motherland from the early days by defending it from the Aryans and now from the economic giants of the country. Their land and livelihood and tier forest have been snatched away in the name of development with very less or no benefit for them. It is their metamorphosis and it is their up break evolution which is being tried to be portrayed here my the new master plan and the seat of power. Since the architecture of the state was only temporary structures and vast open areas in the forest for communal gatherings, spaces and design have been interpreted in that fashion. The natural topography and the terrain has been well respected and the ecology taken care of. The typology of a power structure that is the Vidhan Sabha is taken from a modest harvest hut and integration of large landscape feature in order to synchronize the built with the open area. It’s a expression of the indigenous people of the state, the tribes of Jharkhand.
