Xiaofeng Denton Peng is Chairman and CEO of SPI Energy Co., Ltd., a renewable energy company headquartered in McClellan Park, California. He is a pioneer, visionary, and successful entrepreneur in the renewable energy industry, with two decades of experience in solar, battery storage, electrical vehicles (EV), and EV charging. SPI Energy Co Ltd. trades under Nasdaq under the ticker symbol SPI. He also serves as CEO and Chairman of Phoenix Motor Inc., a publicly traded company that designs, develops, manufactures, and assembles all-electric transit buses and integrates electric drive systems for medium- and light-duty electric vehicles in the United States.
