NEW MARIO WORLD In this drawing, I want to show a feeling of a flying island, and there are temples in the jungle, and this island is full of water, and human find this place then try to attack it, and this is why there are some planes, also some soldiers in the plane, I want to name this drawing “Water Or War, and the main color is green, brown and blue, these three colors will give a feeling of the temple and jungle, to combine two parts, it is clear that the front part will cover certain parts of the back part, and with open of hidden places, I can use my imagination to develop the underground world, also I can use the color change to show the relationship between different aspects.

Pattern Vs Surface 8

PAPER LANDSCAPE In this Module, with the modeling of the map, it makes me understand the importance of developable surfaces, and with the base of ruled shapes, then the surface will be flat. In figure 1, in order to make the shape looks much more clear, I change the color of 3D panels. The meaning of my model is with the 2D pattern, it will make it like an animal——Alpaca, then in figure 2, with hollow of 3D patterns’ sides, a feeling of flowing can be created, then the valgus things means leaves, these leaves shaped things are cut randomly, so the 3D patterns will show a concept of forest and nature. Finally, the whole model means there is an Alpaca having a rest in the forest, this gives a feeling of organic, and a sense of nature world.

Thin CiTies 2: Zenobia INVISIBLE CITY The isometric view show the general situation of the world and the movement symbols need to be explain, the thicker arrow show the low speed ,and the thinner arrow show the high speed, and the space between also show the length of the pace. In beginning the Marco just reach the city, so curious about it, and walk very fast and when he reach the point of the first perspective, he was shocked, because this part of city is full of appetite, the dragon in Hobbit is to show the appetite of money, the character gulu in lord of ring and Hobbits, who is the representation of appetite, and there are many treasures in this scene and with the representation of gulu and Hobbits, it aimed to show how the mind was changed by the desires ,the confetti shows a feeling of devil party. Perspective 1 Because it has been mentioned that the city was built for the purpose of desire, so i use the dragon in Hobbit to show the desire of money, and dragon is the symbol of this, from the other side the roles inside are also from the Hobbits and the lord of the ring, the famous character gulu, who is the representation of desire, and there are many treasures in this scene, the representation of gulu and Hobbits is used to show how the mind is changed by the desire, the confetti shows a feeling of evil party.

14

Perspective 2 With the description of the first perspective, it is said that the city has possibility to develop as a city which is pure, so as the core concept of no desire, the angels are made into this view, and there are some tool are mentioned in the story, like the fish poles, and cranes, barrels storing water, balcony, these kind of thins will create a harmony environment and give a feeling of life, the background is sky to make this view looks more ideal.

REFLECTION

In this semester, I have learnt many things, for example, the software skills, Ps,Ai,Id,it is very helpful for the further study, in module 2 , it is the application of Ai and Ps, but I focus too much on the ps, so in the digital drawing part, I did not do well, in module 3 , the Rhino is really important, and also it is the software which is relatively using in a high frequency, in the module 4, although it did not contain as much work to do as module 3, but it is the module needed other skills, like the express the self-understanding of story to the drawing, and also find the pictures which is related to the theme.

E

And after the whole work in this semester, I realize that there are still so much work to do, like to practice the software skills, to improve the efficiency. Then, it need to mention that after getting the suggeation, from the tutor, I had made some change to the work, like in moudule 1, the sacle label, in module 2, the size is different,, I also changed it, and in module 4, it is needed to change the thickness of the line. Finally, I really happy that I have learnt so many skills in the subject of this smester, it is very useful in the future study, and the critical thinking is important, which will help the student to improve the work.
