WEEK 9 READING: PERSPECTIVE AS SYMBOLIC FORM
Question 1: What are Durer’s rules for perspectival projection?
The Durer’s rules for perspectival projection states that all perpendiculars of “orthogonals” meet at the central of vanishing point, which is determined by the perpendicular drawn from the eye to the picture plane. An window in the reading shows that the view would be seen into the scene from a point within that scene. Futhermore, equal dimentions dimeinish progressively so all portion of the pictures are analysed from the folling portion.
Question 2: Describe homogenous space?
Homogenous space is space s which are infinite and unchanging and the basis of homogeneous of it is all elements, the points that all joined in it, are just to determine their position, prossessing rather than dependent to the content of their own outside of this relation, this position means that thet all in relation to each other. In addition, homogenous space is never a given space but a space produced in construction.

OLD QUAD ISOMETRIC WITH NOTATIONS
Cities & signs 4: Hypatia This isometric view clealy shows the pathway of Marco Polo by with different speed which is illutrated by the alterd step symbols. Also, this view represent the contrast of light and heavy mood intuitively after the staring or glance to some scenes. Futhermore, there is a garden in this scene, so this part is marked by the light place symbol.

QUAD PERSPECTIVE 1 + 2 Annotation.
I choose this scene to be the first perspective is mainly bacause it is the entrance of Marco Polo and from this direction, most of characters can be seen in this view which can highly illustrate the structure of the Old Quad.
Annotation
This is a side view of my Old Quad and the reason why I choose this location as my second view is that due to the isometric view, Marco Polo passed the middle part three times so there are lots of important characters in this section.

PERSPECTIVE SCENE 1 + 2
First, when Macro came into this city, a lagoon is the first object he has noticed. there are some cloths between the lagoon and chair which can image there may be some young anf beautiful ladies bathing. Then, there is another small contrast which is the hedges and the iron gratings in the middle.Besides the iron grating, convicts are working. The fountains is a sign of this city because he has mentioned there are six fountains in this city. Furthermore, the window is a transition of the story, from the inside to outside garden.
In this view, we can clealy notice that behide the flowers, crabs are biting the suicides’ eyes so this is a clealy contrast between positive imagine and negative reality. A library is represented by the bookshelf and wallpaper, a smoker in front of the shelf give the direction to find the philosopher, who is in the corner of this view.

WEEK 11 READING: MAPPING THE UNMAPPABLE
Question 1: What is the difference between autographic and allographic practice?
The autographic and alographic are different in the capability of being reproduced. Autographic refers to the artworks by authors who is legally owned the copyright and have contracts with people who uses their works such as painting and sculptures, allographic is a form of art in which the work exist in many copies and can be produced without direct intervention of the author like misic, poetry and theatres.
Question 2: Why do architects need new representational techniques? Architects need new representational techniques because there is a need to map an unmappable territory since the aichitecture is not belong to neither autographic or allographic. the design of the buildings by architacts are more focus on the strcture, citizens’ need or related to the local culture nowadays. So architects need new techniques to design constructions which can represent the development of world and human’s phisical &mental life.
