EMERGENCY AULA location
BOGOTÁ 2019 - ARQU 3325
a wooden emergency classroom is proposed as a solution to the floods in the region known as La Mojana, in the Momposina depression: zone between the Magdalena, Cauca and San Jorge river basins, in Colombia. The classroom is configured based on the replicability of a base module. The great aúlico space will serve not only as temporary shelters in emergency situations, but also as a permanent equipment for the community. Wood is proposed as constructive solution, understanding its advantages as a construction material for climatic conditions in this area of the country.

SOFT INFRASTRUCTURE BOGOTÁ 2017 - ARQU 3861
for the problematic of the residual public space areas by infrastructure in the city of Bogota, a series of elements are proposed to recognise the surrounding landscape and to re-activate public space affected by the passage of road infrastructure. The aim is also to modify the soil and adapt soft surfaces to allow proper drainage and reuse of water. CO-WORKERS Nathali Silva role: participation in architectural design and analysis, layout and representation elaboration.
Water filtration: a. Concave surface b. Filling of organic material. c. Rock filter. d. Carcase or perforated tube.
Nature emerges and overcomes the logic of human life and its infrastructure, where the dynamics -existing activities- reprogram the surfaces and give a new order in the public space.
a. Paving stones with separate joints b.Bed seat. c. Geotextile layer. d. Permeable sub-base. e. Waterproof flexible membrane. f. Sub-grade.
The retention of the rainwater and its adequate drainage avoiding the rapid loading and the natural discharge, besides taking into account the changinf of the landscape by the temporality of the presence and absence of water.
Empty vacant soils: In front of the uncultivated land resulting from the passage of the infrastructure, a reconquest of a spontaneous flora is observed, caused by the pollination of the train’s continuous passage over these lands, bringing seeds from different parts of the city and integrating them in the same place.
“What surprises and modifies the space is the rhythm in which things appear and disappear” (Clément,2007)

city, reflected in the daily displacement and dynamics of movement, has caused the road infrastructure to be the main element in Bogota’s planning and growth.
River renaturalization, and purification of rainwater through filtering plants that retain and prevent pollution, overload and discharge to the natural channel.
The integration of different species of flora that identify a region, a country, a nature, and an origin, evoking subjective experiences in the same space.
Freedom spaces, that are occupied with all the questions posed by the use of a place whose rules are still unknown
Make present the biological moment that varies from week to week from month to month and from year to year modifying the space according to its temporality and its atmospheric cycle. Also through elements that organize and respond to the existing dynamics in the sector.
URBAN ISLANDS BOGOTÁ 2017 - ARQU 3861

by understanding the fragmentation of the public space resulting from the passage of infrastructure, an architectural intervention is proposed where the object itself, as a symbol, gives a new view to the city landscape and gives continuity to the public space, integrating the urban islands of the roundabout in street 63 (Simon Bolivar Park).
