Design Background

Northeast China has the least proportion of Great Wall resources and theme landscape. After analysis, the design goal is to design an educational and interactive Great Wall cultural theme park in northeast China.

On the basis of enumerating the resources of the Great Wall in the whole of China, 36 main resources of the Great Wall in the east, west, north and natural landscapes. There are thirteen parks, and the park is significantly less than the natural landscape. Analysis of Elements of Typical Great Wall Cultural Theme park

Design Keywords and central parts of China are selected for classification. They are mainly divided into natural landscapes and artificial landscape parks. There are 23 western, northern, and central parts for analysis from five perspectives: environment, user, function, ecology, and economy. Seven key words for the entertainment, Cultural education

The project is a 1-hectare interactive Great Wall cultural theme park for all ages, located in the flat delta region south of yanzhou City ruins in Liaoning Province, China. Site users mainly include four types: tourists, nearby residents, staff and experts and scholars. The design concept comes from the Great Wall culture, and the functional zoning includes: Service area, popular science area, recreation area and viewing area.

The analysis of the surrounding environmental elements of the site found that the site has very convenient traffic conditions and can be reached by vehicles; the site is close to the Yanzhou City ruins, and the cultural conditions are conducive to the construction of the Great Wall cultural theme; the surrounding is a village, with complete service facilities and parks. It is conducive to stimulating the rural economy; surrounded by rivers and mountains, the natural environment is superior.

Design Process

The design process starts from the division of main and secondary roads, to the division of functional divisions, and finally to the threelevel arrangement of greening points, lines and planes, forming the basic form of the design.

Connecting System

Park is a part of the tourism area planning: Yanzhou city ruins provide tourism resources, surrounding villages provide accommodation related services, parks provide leisure and entertainment services.

The section is located near the entrance of the park, and the section line passes through three main landscape areas: Great Wall Sculpture, History Introduction Wall Maze, and Entrance Plaza. The section shows the topographic change of the site from south to north, from hills to flats. The mountainous part adopts terraces. The processing method of adding steps, the flat terrain uses plants to enclose the space.

The section is located in the west of the park, and the cutting line passes through three main landscape areas: Parllay Games, Children's Playground, and Waterside Trail. The section shows the topographic changes of the site from south to north, from flat land to river. Part of the river revetment uses terraces and gabions. The river is bridged for viewing. This part of the landscape area is relatively focused on entertainment, so the space is more open.
