GLObALISATION IS A LINk TIED ANYwHERE ON EARTH IN MODERN SOCIETY. THE wORLD NOw IS MORE TOLERANT. THE CHAIN IS A PUbLIC CENTRE FOR PEOPLE FROM DIFFERENT CULTURAL bACkGROUNDS TO COMMUNICATE AND ASSIST EACH OTHER.

THE CULTURAL CENTRE PROMOTES ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT THROUGH TOURISM, ExHIbITIONS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES. RESIDENTS COULD RECEIVE EDUCATION AND EMPLOYMENT IN THE CHAIN. THE YOUNGER GENERATION COULD ALSO ExCHANGE AND LEARN ADVANCED kNOwLEDGE IN THIS PUbLIC CENTRE.

afTer The pandemic, archiTecTs are looking for sTraTegies To make public buildings more organic and adapTable To differenT environmenTs. The adjusTable facade is designed for passive design sTraTegies. paTTerns auTomaTically open and close for naTural venTilaTion and sunlighT.

alThough The physiological and safeTy needs are generally saTisfied, people’s spiriTual needs are hardly fulfilled. emoTions such as loneliness, anxieTy and spiriTual empTiness are increasing in urbanisaTion. chinaTown in melbourne is an urbanisaTion now crowded wiTh various shops and resTauranTs, exposing The issues such as The funcTional monoTonous on The sTreeT.

The shifTing happens day and nighT in public and semi-privaTe spaces. when The residenTs open The sliding doors, They can socialise wiTh Their neighbours more convenienTly

The oTher side of The “l-shape” is a privaTe space, which includes a bedroom or workshop. iT could hide backward The living space because of The design of The privacy level change. The noise could also reduce by The “buffer zone”.
