When iPhone says no service it means you can' t use it for the basic things, such as texting, calling, and using mobile data. The only way to access the Internet is by connecting to a Wi-Fi network. You won’t be able to use the mobile internet until you get rid of the error. The same thing goes for messages and calls. The issue will appear in the areas with no network coverage, or in the areas where network coverage is poor when you can also see a message "searching for service". Now Vip Fix Shop Team will help you solve this problem.

We received an iPhone 6S Plus from peer, the faulty is it can't recognize the SIM card, after test, it is no service, but we can search the operator manually. This kind of

phenomenon is usually caused by the launch part. Picture 1-1

Disassemble the iPhone by phone opening tools, and carefully take out the motherboard. Using multimeter to measure the diode data of PP_1V85_SMPS4, the diode data only have 59, as shown in picture 1-2. Because this voltage is supplied to RF IC, so we remove the RF IC.

After we remove the RF IC, we measure it again; the diode data back to normal, as shown in picture 1-3. So we replace the new RF IC on it, we can check it under the microscope, as shown in picture 1-4.

Now we turn on iPhone, and test it, the signal is back. However, during the testing process, we found the 3G shows no signal, when we choose 3G signal, it will be no service, 4G and 2G is normal, as shown in picture 1-5.

Other signal all is fine except 3G; this trouble is mostly caused by the UMBPA_RF. After we replace the new

UMBPA_RF with rework station, 3G signal is normal. Picture 1-6

Finally, test other function on the iPhone 6, all is fine, the repairs are over!
