Welcome
Dear travel partners, You have known XL AIRWAYS as an airline dedicated to tour operators. You now sell more and more of our scheduled flights. This evolution of our business model is unavoidable: it is not our choice but that of our clients, which makes it the right one. Our mission remains the same: guaranteeing the best price to our passengers while offering the comfort of a modern aircraft with a “French Touch” service. Our experience naturally brings us to turn to travel agents, whose professionalism and know-how will foster our growth. To deserve your trust, we work with you every day in full transparency and with the appropriate humility. So thanks in advance for your interest in this corporate presentation and for your support through your sales. Yours truly, Luc Bereni, Senior VP Sales, Flight Planning & Marketing

Airline’s activities SCHEDULED SERVICES ............................................................... Since 2008, XL Airways has been developing long-haul scheduled services following two distribution models: • On some routes, all seats are available for purchase by individual passengers, following the schedule service model. This applies to flights to the United States, the French West Indies and the Indian Ocean. • On flights to the airline’s historic destinations (Punta Cana and Cancún), only a limited number of seats are available for purchase by individual passengers. The remaining capacity is distributed by tour-operators. The airline also operates medium-haul scheduled services to Catania, Palermo, Venice, Las Palmas, Figari, Ajaccio and Bastia.
CHARTER FLIGHTS ...................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... CHARTER SERIES
ACMI
XL Airways responds to the needs of tour-operators by chartering its aircraft. The airline operates medium-haul charter flights to the main touristic destinations in Europe and the Mediterranean, as well as Cape Verde and Tanzania. The airline also flies to long-haul destinations such as the Bahamas, the Dominican Republic, Mexico and Jamaica.
XL Airways France also extends its services to other airlines for the provision of aircraft and crew.
AD HOC FLIGHTS Thanks to its know-how, XL Airways is able to provide ad hoc flights, corporate charter, or solutions for any entity that may require private air transportation. XL Airways always offers an elaborate service that is fully customized to meet the needs and demands and its customers.
FREIGHT...................................................................................................................... XL Airways operates a fleet with extensive cargo capacities on its long-haul routes. In order to provide efficient solutions in terms of availability, quality of service and cargo tracking, XL Airways relies on the experience and expertise of the Air Logistics companies (European Cargo Services). Headquartered at Charles-de-Gaulle airport, Globe Air Cargo is XL Airways’ sales representative in France.

Questions & Answers How to request a group quote? A group is made of at least 10 passengers traveling together on both the onward and return journey. All scheduled flights are eligible for group bookings. Group quotes may be requested by email at: groupes@xlairways.fr
Is seat selection available on scheduled / charter flights ? Seat selection is available on the airline’s scheduled flights up to 72 hours before departure. This is a complimentary service for all Galaxy Class passengers (C and D booking classes). For passengers travelling in Economy, this service is offered at an extra charge determined by the seat selected (window, aisle, emergency exit, …). To select seats, log on to www.xl.com/us using the PNR reference and the passenger’s last name. Enter an email address, which will be used to send a confirmation upon completion of the process. Select the seats and proceed with payment by credit card.

What are the travel conditions for infants under the age of 2? Until they reach the age of 2, children must travel on the lap of one of their parents or of an accompanying party. Baby baskets onboard our long-haul aircraft (A330) may only be used by infants under 9 months. As there are only a limited number of baby baskets per aircraft, their attribution is not systematic. For scheduled flights, the request must be made directly through the GDS. For charter flights and passengers directly in contact with the airline, it is recommended to make the request at least one week prior to departure. To do so, send an email to prepavoyage@xlairways.fr stating the infant’s first and last names, as well as that of the passengers traveling with him, along with the flight details. Onboard, no special meal is available for children or infants. Parents or accompanying parties are allowed to carry with them the amount of baby food corresponding to the meals taking place place during the flight. The cabin crew will nevertheless provide spring water for the preparation of baby bottles, which may be warmed in a water bath through a simple request.
Can special meals be requested?
On scheduled long-haul flights, infants holding a valid XL Airways eticket may transport up to 10 kg of checked luggage. This does not apply to charter flights.
Vegetarian meals are the only option available on our flights. For scheduled flights, the request for a vegetarian meal (VGML) must be made directly through the GDS at least two business days prior to departure. For charter flights, contact the tour operator or send an email to prepavoyage@xlairways.fr
Finally, only small baby strollers may be transported free of charge. They will be tagged at check-in and be removed from the passengers upon boarding. Other types of strollers will be considered as checked luggage and may be subject to excess luggage charges (see page 14).

Questions & Answers What is XL Airways’ policy on Unaccompanied Minors? What is XL Airways’ policy on Unaccompanied Minors? All children between the ages of 5 and 11 traveling alone are considered Unaccompanied Minors and are entitled to a special treatment. The number of UMs per flight is subject to quota and request for approval at prepavoyage@xlairways.fr When booking a UM ticket (UMNR), it is mandatory to include the names and phone numbers of the adults who will take the child to the airport of departure, and that of those who will pick him up at the airport of destination. To travel, the Unaccompanied Minor must be in possession of an ID or a passport. Unaccompanied Minors cannot be offloaded.
details, with the all names appearing in the same order. Reissuance due to spelling mistakes is subject to a penalty of 80 euros per ticket for long-haul flights / 50 euros for medium-haul flights. Name changes are performed by the airline directly. Requests stating the correct spelling may be sent by email to dvr@xlairways.fr. A refund request for the original ticket must then be made through BSP Link, stating the new ticket’s number and taking into account the penalty of 80 or 50 euros, depending on flight type.
Upon check-in, a liability discharge will be issued for the parent(s) to sign. It must state the name and address of the person who will pick up the child when the latter reaches his final destination. Those accompanying the child must imperatively wait for the plane to take off before leaving the airport, so they can pick him up if necessary. Upon arrival, the UM will only be handed to the person designated by one of the holders of the parental authority, who will be required to provide evidence of his/her identity.
Guadeloupe
Only booking classes Q thru Y are eligible for UM bookings. There may be no UM bookings in X, U, E or W class.
What are XL Airways’ policies and procedures for refunds?
In case of a spelling mistake, does the ticket have to be reissued? What are the charges?
Depending on the airline’s pricing terms, a ticket may be non-refundable (in which case only airport taxes are refunded, with the exception of the XF tax on flights to the US and of the YQ, fuel surcharge), refundable with charges or refundable at no extra charge.
The term “spelling mistake” applies only to an incorrect transcription of a passenger’s name, for instance due to a typing error. It does not refer in any circumstance to the transfer of a ticket to another individual. Air tickets are non-transferrable and no one can be authorized to travel instead of the passenger for which the ticket was booked in the first instance. In case of a “spelling mistake”, ticket reissuance is recommended, which incurs charges. However, on medium-haul flights and long-haul flights to destinations in the French West Indies, ticket reissuance may not be required if the mistake only concerns one or two letters (and in any case not the first letter of the last name). When in doubt, feel free to call our Travel Agent Help Desk at +33 820 488 388 (0,12 € TTC/min). For all other long-haul flights, it is imperative that the passenger’s details entered into the PNR match his/her passport
Refund requests must be made through BSP Link (at not through GDS) and include the various taxes.
How to send a complaint? Complaints must be filled in writing to the Customer Care department. The following original documents must be sent for each concerned passenger: control card or electronic ticket corresponding to the journey for which the complaint is filled, boarding pass stub or any other evidence of travel, such as a baggage tag. Only complaints sent by post will be considered. XL Airways France / Customer Care Department BP13760 95727 Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle Cedex France
ARE THERE PROMOTIONAL FARES FOR TRAVEL AGENTS? Of course. XL Airways does not forget travel agents and regularly offers discounted fares, which are advertised on our dedicated page: www.xlairways.fr/accesprofessionel (registration required).
