How MPs ducked sack by pushing deadline for Bills

Members of Parliament on Tuesday extended the constitutional deadline for six crucial Bills to save themselves from a possibility of being sent home. The MPs were facing imminent failure to meet a constitutional deadline which would have exposed them to petitions seeking their removal. The National Assembly had a deadline of August 27, 2014 to pass six Bills failure to which the House was at the risk of facing the consequences of the petition.
