enyan nationals are among the foreigners who have suffered massive looting following recent anti-immigrant attacks in South Africa. The Kenyan High Commission in Pretoria says it has received reports from Kenyan business community
of heavy losses due to the on-going attacks. “A number of businesses close to the areas of reported violence have been forced to remain closed. There have been several reports of looting and destruction of business premises owned by Kenyan nationals,” Kenyan High Commissioner to
Pretoria Jean Kamau said in a statement. Kamau said a fact finding mission in Durban, the city worst hit by the violence, established that no Kenyan is living in refugee camps, but that many have fled their residences in the city and are living with friends and relatives. CONTINUED ON PAGE 2

Kenyans looted as SA army steps in to quell attacks From Page 1 According to the ambassador, very few Kenyans are registered with the embassy thus hampering efforts to effectively deliver services especially in times of emergency. “The current status of date at the High Commission is such that only a small fraction of Kenyan nationals living
in South Africa are registered … yet the Kenyan community boast of large numbers of persons living and working within various cities and towns. Without registration, it is difficult for the mission to provide services and ensure the safety of its citizens through direct contact,” she said while appealing for those not yet registered to quickly do so.
The Xenophobic attacks in South Africa began a fortnight ago and have since spread to other cities like Johannesburg. At least eight people have been killed in the latest wave of violence. South Africa deployed troops last evening as part of a new government effort to stop the violence. They were deployed to the Johannesburg suburb of Jeppestown, the
latest to be hit by the attacks. South African police raided a Jeppestown hostel Tuesday while troops secured the perimeter. Earlier, Defense Minister Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula announced the plan to deploy an undisclosed number of troops to areas where police are spread too thin while trying to curb deadly attacks against immigrants.
DADAAB REFUGEES READY FOR VOLUNTARY RETURN, SAYS UNHCR Refugees living at the Dadaab camp are ready to be voluntarily repatriated to Somalia, the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) now says. Speaking after launching a tripartite commission on the relocation in Nairobi, UNHCR said the next step is to ensure the refugees return safely and access to basic needs back in Somalia. “All refugees in Dadaab want to return voluntarily and they want to be able to have access to basic services when they return and
they want to have security when they return. This is what is being worked on and this is what we owe to them -finding durable solutions for refugees,” UNHCR country representative Raouf Mazou said. He said the repatriation plan for Somali refugees started in November 2013 when Kenya, Somalia and UNHCR signed a tripartite agreement. The three parties agreed that return of refugees to Somalia would be voluntary.
Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed who witnessed the launch of the tripartite commission at her office said the commission will discuss the relocation of the refugees within the next three months. “The repatriation we are going to carry out is that of Somalis. We agreed we will do it as quickly as possible, before three months are over, but it will depend on available resources,” she explained. During the meeting, the three partners agreed that
the commission will scrutinise security issues and also other important factors that will boost their livelihoods and peaceful return. “Both Kenya and Somali agree we want a peaceful Somalia- it’s our objective, we are doing it as partners UNHCR, Somalia and Kenya, we will meet as frequently as possible. We have an understanding and we are resolving issues,” Mohamed said.
“This intervention is not an indictment on the police. ... We are coming in because they need that support,” she said after visiting Johannesburg’s Alexandra township, one area where mobs have attacked immigrants from other African nations and looted their shops, ostensibly based on the belief that immigrants are taking South Africans’ jobs.

Office of the President accountant charged with Sh3.2 million theft An accountant at President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Harambee House office has been charged with stealing Sh3.2 million from the government. fake payrolls of non-existent staff purported to have taken loans from a phantom company, the prosecution told the court. Muchiri however denied the charge saying the forged payrolls were genuine credit recovery for the money for Molyn Credit limited who had offered loans to staff at the office.
He also denied a charge of conspiracy stating that between December 2009 and August 2011 in the office of the president at Harambee House Nairobi, jointly with others not before court, conspire to defraud the government by means of forging staff payroll to purport they had taken loans.
The suspect has been ordered to deposit a cash bail of Sh900, 000 or deposit a bond of Sh1.8 million pending hearing on May 19. He was also ordered to appear for a mention of the case on May 4 at the Milimani Chief Magistrate’s Court.

Do you support Kidero’s move to move long distance Matatu terminI away from the CBD?

Chris Muriuki I strongly disagree with that decision by our Governor. In my opinion, I think it is a waste of time and resources. Commuters will now be required to pay extra fare to get to the CBD, which is really unfair.
I second Governor Kidero. I think his plan to relocate the bus terminals away from the CBD is a smart move as there will be less congestion on our roads and especially in town. We are tired of all the traffic and it is about time that the city is decongested.
Michelle Murithi I do not think moving the Matatu termini from the City Centre will solve anything. In contrast it will add more troubles to travelers as some usually have heavy luggage to carry hence it will inconvenience them.
I am proud of our Governor. I think Kidero’s plan to move the termini is a smart one because it will greatly reduce the constant traffic jams we experience here in Nairobi and probably minimize the number of accidents on our roads.

Kenya will produce 620 millionaires every year Kenya is going to produce an average of 620 world-class millionaires every year for the next 5 years. This means that every year, some lucky businessperson, investor, entrepreneur or heir to a vast fortune, will have more than Sh2.8 billion in their bank account. These developments come just as Wealth Insight, a global research firm, has unveiled a list of the continent’s 10 richest people, based on the cities in which they reside. Their research has shown that Africans are getting so rich that every luxury brand worth its salt is fighting for their attention. The firm, which is the leading source of high quality intelligence on millionaires and billionaires across the globe, carried out a survey that focused on Ultra-high-net-worth-individuals (UHNWI) - those with more than $30 million (Sh2.8 billion) in money and assets, excluding their primary residence. It comes as no surprise that Kano, in Ni-
geria is home to many of Africa’s richest people. Wealth Insght revealed that Kenya has about 5,000 world-class millionaires and will have a total of 8,100 within the next 5 years. In fact, the number of millionaires in Kenya is rising by about 6.3 per cent every year. “Africa is one of the fastest growing regions in terms of middle class,” says Fflur Roberts, head of luxury at Euromonitor, a leading market research provider. “It’s due to a mix of rising incomes, rising population but also growth slowing in other emerging markets.” Africa’s rich like to stick to well-known global labels that carry an automatic badge of status, says Milena Veselinovic, a London-based market analyst. “Generally the brands they buy will be more ostentatious compared to somebody in the more developed, mature markets. It’s going to be the Louis Vuitton, the Gucci, the Prada,” explains Roberts.
4000 jobs for Kisumu youth in slums upgrade About 4, 000 youth from Nyalenda in Kisumu County will get employment opportunities as the government begins a major facelift of informal settlements in the lakeside city. President Uhuru Kenyatta while launching a youth empowerment and slum upgrading project in Nyalenda yesterday, said the project will see the youths engaged in clean-ups and construction of toilets, medical clinics and police posts. “We have decided that the best way to reduce poverty is to take development to the citizens wherever they are,” President Kenyatta said, affirming the government’s commitment to ensuring equitable development in informal settlement and other parts of the country. He said the upgrading of Nyalenda slum paves the way for the improvement of the remaining three informal settlements of Manyatta, Obunga and Nyawita in Kisumu County. He advised the youths who will benefit from the project – implemented by the Ministry of Devolution through the Na-
tional Youth Service (NYS) – to form a Savings and Credit Co-operative (SACCO) where they will save some of their earnings. Citing the example of the ongoing Kibera slum upgrading project, President Kenyatta asked Nyalenda beneficiaries to emulate the Kibera youths who have saved up to Sh100 million, which they will use as start-up capital for their businesses when the project comes to an end. President Kenyatta said the project targets construction of 23 medical clinics, 23 toilets and 23 police posts as well as a road to open up the informal settlement. He urged the county government of Kisumu to complement the national government’s initiatives of creating employment for the youth and improving the lives of citizens by ensuring equity in implementation of development projects. “We believe that Kenya is one and we want development to reach every part of the country,” President Kenyatta said.

NEWS BRIEFS Drama as drunk minors are arrested, then released There was drama at the Kiamumbi police station when police arrested 37 teenagers for being drunk and disorderly. They later bowed to pressure from the kids’ parents and released them. The officers said they collected eight spent bottles of whisky and brandy from the house where the teenagers had been in Kahawa West estate last night. The minors aged between 12 and 14 were attending a birthday party of their colleague when they decided to indulge in alcohol. Police say they have established the children bought the alcohol from a nearby wines and spirits shop and hid it in one of the rooms of the house. The seller has been arrested. The Alcoholic Drinks Control Act (2013) imposes stiff penalties to individuals who sell alcohol to minors or even allow them access to areas where alcohol is manufactured, sold or consumed. The law on underage drinking in Kenya requires that no person shall knowingly provide alcohol to persons under the age of 18 years.
Tunisian migrant smuggler rammed boat into rescue ship, Italy says Details have emerged about the capsizing of a migrant boat in the Mediterranean on Sunday that killed more than 800. Prosecutors in Italy say the captain, who survived and faces multiple homicide charges, crashed the boat by mistake against a merchant rescue ship. Italian police said they issued an arrest warrant for the Tunisian captain of the boat, Mohammed Ali Malek, 27, and crew member Mahmud Bikhit, a 25-year-old Syrian, as soon as the coastguard vessel Bruno Gregoretti docked. They said the migrant boat captain had tried to come alongside the rescue vessel and “accidentally caused the small fishing boat to collide with the bigger merchant ship”. The second cause was the “overcrowding of the fishing boat, so the boat was tipped off balance by the wrong manoeuvre, causing the migrants on board to shift and capsize. This is the deadliest capsize recorded in the Mediterranean, according to the UN.

GMO debate: Lobbyists gun for new techniques Agricultural campaign group, Green Peace Africa, has called on the Government to move away from the Genetically Modified Foods debate and invest in ecological farming techniques. Green Peace Agriculture Campaigner Glen Tyler says the question of whether genetically modified foods can cause cancer or not is no longer pertinent as the country can attain food security through ecological farming. “While they tout things like
drought tolerant seeds, there are a lot of seeds that have already been developed without genetic engineering that are already climate resilient. We’re looking at a technology of engineering that is already two decades old and there are much newer technologies like micro-assisted selection,” he told Capital FM. Ecological farming, Green Peace explains, in its brochure, is also known as agroecology and works to increase yields and farmers’ incomes using microbiology, soil
science and epigenetics. Ecological farming, he explained, entails growing a diverse array of crops, the use of locally available resources such as fertiliser trees and insects, not agrochemicals, to fight off infestation. “And no, we’re not going back to traditional farming. There are a lot of modern technologies that ecological farming incorporates. But yes, it revitalises the indigenous knowledge that farmers have and in lots of cases are actually losing,” Tyler
explained. One such research body, Green Peace, is working with is ICIPE with whom they will launch a report on the economic benefits of ecological farming on Wednesday. “In Kenya we found that farmers are benefitting three times more than farmers using chemical inputs and in Malawi one and a half times more,” he said. Benefits that extend to the soil, water and climate, Tyler explained: “We’ve seen around the world particularly in China
and the US where there’s huge over use of nitrogen fertilisers a lot of eutrophication, that means die off happening in water bodies.” Green Peace Africa has, therefore, advised the government to shift its focus to ecological farming and away from what it says is costly – monetarily and climatically – chemical intensive agriculture so the small scale farmer can enjoy larger margins of profit.

The two Nobel peace laureates are meeting Dharamsala, India, where for five days, as well as marking the Dalai Lama’s 80th birthday, they will spend time “in deep dialogue and playful laughter as they share their experience of how to find joy in the face of life’s challenges. Tutu arrived in Dharamsala on
Saturday afternoon in a chartered plane. He was received at the Gaggal airport by the Dalai Lama. Talking to media at the Gaggal airport, Tutu said he had been looking forward to the visit for a long time, especially because the South African government had denied the Dalai Lama a visa, to attend the retired Archbishop’s birthday two years ago. “I do not know why the South African government is denying visa to the Dalai Lama,” he said. “I invited the Dalai Lama to be
part of my birthday celebrations in South Africa. However, I was surprised to know that he had been denied visa by the government. I talked to the Dalai Lama on the phone and enquired how many divisions of the army he had because of which the Chinese government was afraid of him,” Tutu exclaimed. He further said he did not know why people wanted to keep him away from the Dalai Lama. “I and the Dalai Lama have respect and love for each other,” he said.

An apple a day: Biting into the juicy world of apple farming Apples are one of the most cultivated tree fruits in the world. Their demand too is equally as high due to their unrivalled nutritional values. Nevertheless, apples have recorded increased cultivation in Kenya and generally East Africa. While traditionally Kenya relied solely on imports, local interventions by research institutions coupled with farmers appetite for the fruit is making local varieties easily accessible. In Kenya, Apples thrive well in the highland areas surrounding Mount Kenya with the famous Wambugu apple being the most preferred and adopted variety. Areas currently under apple production in Kenya are Kiambu, Kitale and Nandi.
High altitude zones are referred for apple farming in Kenya, especially Mt. Elgon region, where apples can grow in the districts of Mbale, Bulambuli, Kapchorwa, Kween, Manafwa, Bukwo, Sironko and Bududa. Apples can be propagated both by seed and through grafting. However, growing apples from seed does not result in the same crop as the parent but grafts retain their properties and taste just as great as their parents. It’s recommended that to get good crop you use grafted apple seedlings to establish your apple orchard. Unlike other crops, climatic conditions, soil properties and choice of variety are the three things to consider while growing apples. Apples require cold
conditions to be productive. Areas with average temperature are good for apple production in warm tropical climates. Each apple variety to be planted where it’s suitable for production. In Mt. Elgon area, varieties such as; Anna, Golden Dorset and winter banana are recommended. In Kenya, the most common varieties are disease resistant varieties which include, Enterprise, Liberty, Gold rush, Jona free, Pristine, and William Pride which are resistant to Apple scab and fire blight. It is advisable for a farmer to always consider planting a pollinator variety in your apple orchard since most apple varieties are self-sterile. Anna and Golden Dorset have a matching
flowering pattern and make a good combination in an orchard. Anna, Golden Dorset and winter banana also make a combine well for a good crop. Begin land preparation by removing all vegetative matter, trees and stumps in the field. Arrange your plants in a rectangular or square layout spaced at 4mx3m or 3mx3m. This will give you some space to intercrop. Apples can be intercropped with annuals such as beans, cowpeas and soya beans. This will provide you economic benefits as you wait for the apples to grow and become productive which can take up to 3-4 years. Just like other crops watch out for pest and diseases for maximum output.

esterday, Nyayo stadium was the setting for the Music Copyright Society of Kenya elections. The elections began promptly, at 8am, despite some disgruntled members going to court to stop the process. Voting was closed at 4pm and counting began. The MCSK office has two posts of directorship which Henry Njenga (Mwalimu wa Jane) and Albert Gacheru won, with 219 and 203 votes, respectively. The two artistes got support from their ‘Riveroad’ counterparts, who came out to vote in their numbers. The Kenyan music industry is divided into two classes, River Road and uptown. River Road artistes mostly sing in vernacular languages and mostly target rural dwellers. Uptown musicians target urban folk and mainly comprise new-generation singers. The latter class, it seems, doesn’t regard elections with the kind of respect it deserves, as only a handful turned up for the exercise. “Uptown artistes only vote on Instagram and Twitter—they do not come out and vote,” said Gerriey Wainaina, a gospel singer. The MCSK has about 3,600 active members, all of whom should have voted yesterday. But only over 200 showed up for the exercise. “The turnout was a bit poor this time. More artistes should have come out and voted. But I am glad this time some of the uptown artistes turned up,” said Fundi Frank. Nonini, who has been at the forefront

campaigning for Lady Bee, had urged artistes to come out in large numbers and vote for “change in the society”. He asked the artistes to stop whining about the society and do something about it by voting in people they believed would be accountable to the society. Our guess is that they did not listen, going by the low turnout. Lady Bee got 48 votes while Frasha managed a paltry 35 votes. The two have been rigorously campaigning, promising to bring more transparency in MCSK, especially when it comes to royalty remittances. It seems their strategy did not work as they forgot to tap in to the River Road artistes who clearly showed the uptown class how the business is done. There was some controversy as it emerged that Lady Bee had allegedly taken a photo of her ballot showing her candidate of choice and posted it on social media. The work of the directors is to be the voice of artistes in regards to what MCSK is doing. They ensure that the artiste’s interests are safeguarded and that the society was doing their job. In other words, the directors are the gatekeepers. Directors are elected every two years and once elected, a director cannot vie for a another term.

TAURUS Apr 20 - May 20 You may want everyone to know what you’re feeling and act out in an immature manner to get noticed. In a way, you feel like a kid who will do anything to get a parent’s attention, even if the action is naughty. At the same time, you don’t want to be seen as the bad kid. GEMINI May 21 - Jun 21 You may be fidgeting, Gemini, given your general restlessness. You’re anxious to get up and do some sort of song and dance, and yet you insist on waiting for the right time. Meanwhile, you’re getting extremely anxious for your big moment. You’re in charge of your own show. CANCER Jun 22 - Jul 21 Although you may pride yourself on your patience, Cancer, this quality could be hard to come by today. The final straw is about to be placed on the camel’s back. Let loose the explosion of emotion called for by events. There’s no use trying to maintain a saintly demeanor today.
VIRGO Aug 23- Sep 22 The more you try to control others, the harder it will be to get what you want, Virgo. People with equally strong wills are making it known they won’t be bullied by your manipulative behavior. Perhaps the situation wasn’t meant to develop the way you wanted.
MUSTREAD Son of the Native Soil — by Shadrach Ambanasom
LIBRA Sep 23 - Oct 22 You may join hands with a spokesperson who’s willing to attest to your honesty and good nature, Libra. This person is happy to step up and toot your horn for you. You’ve earned a space in the spotlight, so don’t shrink into the background when your name is called.
Lucas Achamba is a charismatic and loving man. He loves peace and wants the same for his people. He undertakes a near impossible task, to unite the Dudum Clan. The clan has been split by too much politics and egos the size of ten football fields. Many people discourage him and find his efforts hilarious. How can he unite the clan when so many others before him have failed? But he does succeed and unites the clan. His quick success brings on bitter rivalry and cruelty from the people who were revelling in the clan’s disunity. Who does this man think he is uniting the clan? The cruelty is directed at Lucas who finds himself backed up against the wall with nowhere to go.
SCORPIO Oct 23 - Nov 21 You may get frustrated when people who’ve taken shortcuts gain on your position, Scorpio. You believe that hard work is necessary to get where you need to go. You aren’t afraid to expend the blood and sweat needed for success. You’ve planned well and you’re on track. SAGITTARIUS Nov 22 - Dec 21 You may not realize the effect of your erratic behavior on other people, Sagittarius. They may try to understand your viewpoint, but at times it seems you’re talking in riddles. Slow down and clarify your thoughts before you dictate orders to others. You have incredible power.

ARIES Mar 21 - Apr 19 Be quick to point out when you see an injustice, Aries. If someone says something offensive or untrue, don’t let it slide. If you do, you’re just as much at fault as the person who committed the offense. When you know you’re right, say so. It’s important that others respect you.

SPORT 13 WEDNESDAY, APRIL 22, 2015 THIS IS THE PLAN: AFC Leopards head Coach Zdravko Logarusic issues instructions to his players during a past league match. The Croat believes the 2015 title is his team’s to lose.
Logarusic confident Leopards will take the 2015 league title to recover and go on to win the league. Seventh-placed Ingwe are five points adrift of champions and league leaders Gor Mahia after eight matches to the season. Logarusic coach says the slow start to the season has been majorly credited to the fact that most of his players are
Henderson closes in on Liverpool deal Liverpool’s Jordan Henderson is close to agreeing a new £100000 (KSh14million)-a-week, five-year deal with the club. The former Sunderland midfielder is expected to sign the new contract this week, ending months of talks. The England international joined Liverpool from the Black Cats in 2011 in a deal worth shs 2.8billion. With Steven Gerrard leaving at the end of the season for Major League Soccer side LA Galaxy, the 24-year-old is among the favorites for the captaincy. Vice-captain Henderson, whose current deal expires at the end of next season, has scored seven times in 55 games for club and country this campaign. This comes at a time manager Brendan Rogers’s credential are being questioned. He was close to landing the Premier League title this time last year, a 3-2 win at Norwich leaving the Reds five points clear at the top of the table with three games remaining. Fast forward 12 months and Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final defeat by Aston Villa means Rodgers has become the first Anfield boss since the 1950s not to win a trophy in his first three seasons in charge.
either unfit or suffering from injuries. “This was our third game in seven days we know we are not fit. We were limited with substitutions because we were forced to do two in the first-half. It was unfortunate the players whom we brought on could not change the game. “The last 20 minutes we were unfit
but game by game we will be alright; this is our seventh game and we have two loses so let’s go five games without defeat,” Logarusic said. Ahead of another equally tough fixture against Tusker on Saturday, a fixture where both sides need maximum points to keep their hopes of reclaiming
the title alive, the Croat believes his side will come good. “In the league, there are no bigger or smaller club, therefore the need to plan for all matches with a lot of seriousness, ours is to do the chasing and remain focused for the bigger prize,” he said.

Ferrari to delay Raikkonen’s contract renewal Ferrari are holding off signing a new contract with Kimi Raikkonen, saying the reason is to ensure the Finnish driver stays motivated this season. His deal runs out this year and Ferrari have an option to retain the 35-year-old alongside Sebastian
Vettel in 2016. Team boss Maurizio Arrivabene said: “He has demonstrated he’s a great driver so if you’re asking now if he deserves to renew the option, I’m going to say yes. “But if I’m going to say yes, I don’t want a driver to fall asleep.”
Arrivabene was talking after Raikkonen’s best performance so far this season, a second place behind Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton in Bahrain on Sunday. Raikkonen was outperformed comprehensively by then teammate Fernando Alonso in 2014, but
has been much more competitive with Vettel this season following Alonso’s move to McLaren. Arrivabene said: “Kimi is giving his best when he’s in a bit of trouble. This is the psychological approach.

Kiplagat will face two former London Marathon champions, and the fastest halfmarathon runner in history when she defends her Virgin Money London Marathon women’s title. The double world champion sprinted to victory on The Mall last year, beating her namesake and half marathon world recordholder Florence Kiplagat by just three seconds, in the closest fought women’s race for 17 years.
The two Kiplagats will meet again on Sunday when they face the 2013 London Marathon champion, Priscah Jeptoo, and Mary Keitany, who topped the London Marathon podium in 2011 and 2012. The defending champion says, the availability of the fantastic four in the race, as they are being referred to will make it even sweeter for fans and competitive for the participants. “It will be awesome to win in such circumstances given that the race will thewho -is -who in the marathon scenes, I am looking forward to it,” said the 35-year-old. “I am very sure everyone is ready for arguably

Kiplagat, who was placed second in the standing, will soon be presented the WMM award by the organisers, therefore becoming the third Kenyan woman winner after two other former London marathon champions, Keitany and Priscah Jeptoo.

INGWE WILL WIN 2015 KPL TITLE - COACH LOGARUSIC
Ruthless Bayern put 6 past Porto Bayern Munich put in a devastating first-half performance to overcome a first-leg deficit and beat Porto to reach the Champions League semi-finals. Needing a 2-0 win, Bayern were level on aggregate within 22 minutes thanks to Thiago and Jerome Boateng headers. Robert Lewandowksi put them further ahead and Thomas Muller drove home for 4-0 before Lewandowski added a second. Jackson Martinez gave Porto some hope, but Ivan Marcano was sent off, with Xabi Alonso scoring from the free-kick. And Bayern - chasing a second treble in three years were confident of making it six. Captain Philipp Lahm was “utterly convinced” the Bavarians would qualify, although Muller warned “everyone just piling

Bayern attacked from the first whistle and Lewandowski had hit a post before Thiago headed home Juan Bernat’s cross to open the scoring within 14 minutes. Boateng levelled the tie when his seemingly weak header from Holger Badstuber’s flick-on beat Fabiano. Five minutes later, Bayern strung together 26 consecutive passes as Lahm’s cross was helped on by Muller and Lewandowski stooped to head home. Porto boss Julen Lopetegui had identified that most of Bayern’s threat was coming down the left - despite the absence of wingers Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery - and brought off right-back Diego Reyes after 33 minutes. But the change did nothing to alter the flow of the game.
Eat bread and support football were the words of ODM leader Raila Odinga as he presided over the launching of a deal between the Kenyan champions and Good Bread Kenya Limited. The deal, which was unveiled at the Jomo Kenyatta Sports Ground in Kisumu yesterday, will see the company pay one shilling for every bread purchased to the club. “As you know Gor Mahia have had no sponsors and I was in India to talk to the India Chamber of Commerce and Industry, they wanted to know where

Muller put Bayern in control when his shot from long distance was deflected through keeper Fabiano’s legs by Bruno Martins Indi. Lewandowski made the second half look like an irrelevance when he was picked out by Muller before firing home, thanks to more woeful Porto defending. Bayern have twice scored seven goals in Champions League matches this season, and Guardiola frequently looked angry in the second half as they failed to continue their first-half domination. He would have been even angrier after Martinez headed home Hector Herrera’s cross for his seventh goal in eight Champions League games this season. Bayern will find out their semi-final opponents on Friday.

The 14-time Kenyan champions have been without a sponsor have Milk Company Tuzo pulled out of sponsoring more than a year ago.
