t least five people have been confirmed dead following flash floods that swept across Narok town last evening after a heavy downpour in the area. Fears are rife that several bodies could be recovered
in the Narok River, which burst its bank. Many others are reported missing. At least five bodies were recovered today morning with Narok County Commissioner Arthur Osiya asking residents to remain calm and report any
missing persons to the authorities. An unknown number of people, several vehicles and property worth thousands of shillings are feared to have been swept away in the deluge that lasted several hours. CONTINUED ON PAGE 2
