Cord now links Jubilee to stalled Okoa Kenya bid

he opposition coalition Cord has today accused the ruling Jubilee alliance of frustrating its push for a referendum to amend the constitution. Cord is seeking to change various laws through popular vote and already submitted their signatures to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) for verification.
But the coalition is now accusing both IEBC and Jubilee of a collusion to frustrate the Okoa Kenya movement. In a statement read by Cord co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka at the Serena Hotel in Nairobi today, the coalition said Jubilee is interfering with the work of IEBC in the verification of the signatures.
