he opposition coalition Cord has today vowed to push on with their quest for a referendum to amend various clauses of the constitution despite the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) yesterday declaring the push collapsed after failing to attain the required number of signatures. The coalition through the Okoa Kenya
movement had in November last year presented 1,633, 577 signatures to the electoral body for verification before the push was turned into a Bill and presented to county assemblies to approve a popular vote. However, IEBC yesterday announced that only 891, 598 signatures of the 1,633, 577 presented to them were valid.. CONTINUED ON PAGE 2
