At least 3000 people will join the job market this weekend as Kenya Methodist University releases graduates who have completed their studies in various fields at the institution. The university will hold its 16th graduation ceremony tomorrow at its main campus in Meru town. Vice Chancellor Joseph Ntombura has urged their graduates to drive growth onec they get to work. Rev Ntombura has also urged their alumni to set the pace in revving up community development.
“I must remind the graduates that they are a powerful young generation in human history,” he said. This is your opportunity to use that power to drive growth and change in society,” he added. This comes even as KeMU student sponsors Dhabiti Savings and Credit Cooperation expressed willingness to sponsor more students in the next financial year through a discounted loan facility. The Sacco chief executive Titus Munjuri told X News that those already sponsored have excelled hence the need to expand the initiative. MORE STORIES on Pages 8-9
