In wet slippery conditions the girls had to adjust their game to short, accurate passing to maintain possession. In a strong defensive effort, they were able to get multiple turnovers to stop North from scoring! With a strong attacking gameinthesecondhalfandmovingthe ball effectively through the mid court they were rewarded with some accurate shooting which saw the girls come away with their third win for the season Best players were Bridie Douglas and Raven Johnson with Bridie Douglas also receiving the Baker's DelightIncentiveaward.

U13As

Another awesome win last week girls! Although the courts were wet, the girls were still able to attack and transition the ball down the court with speed and minimal stepping calls. Our defensive pressure all over the court was great to see with different and random combinations being made on the day Although it is only round three, I am looking forward to seeing what the rest of the season has in store for us. Special mention to Olive Thorne who received the Jacqui Matthews Incentive Award for her improvement on footwork and patiencewhenfeedingintothegoalies.
